    Good Points: GREAT STAFF

    General comments: Dominica is a great island, I am originally from Spain, I stayed in Calibishie Lodges and later in there guesthouse. I had a great view, the island is very beautiful, it's just like stepping back in time, every body is friendly. The owners of the lodges are from Europe, they have a nice spirit about how to deal with people, they treat you like part of their family. Bob is a great tour guide too. If you stay on this beautiful island, please do no hesitate to ask for information from people, they are very friendly and willing to help.

    We have spend 3 weeks on Dominica at Calibishie Lodges. The island is beautiful! Here you can sit back and enjoy life. The hotel we stayed is calibishie-lodges and is located in Calibishie, a small village at 15 minutes drive from Melville airport. Portsmouth is about 20 minutes drive and Roseau about 45 minutes drive from Calibishie. Next to the hotel is a car-rental with good cars and not expensive. The hotel is small but charming.
