Good Points: easy to use, light, good quality
Bad Points: battery doesn't hold a charge as long as I'd have liked
General comments: JVC GR-D20 is a good overall digital camera for beginners wanting holiday videos etc, easy to use and looks good too. Overall a decent product.

When I bought the JVC GR-D20 I literally couldn't believe my eyes, this camera works like magic. You switch it on and the light turns on, the picure comes on the screen. I laughed so much when I turned the camera round and saw myself actually laughing. How can I say I love this camera without scaring you. Please go with me on this, it's beautiful a joy to be with, my heart hurts when I'm not with it, and I think in its most deepest chip it loves me too.

After much searching I went for the JVC GRD20 digital camcorder, mainly because I didn't need video in, or the still picture capability of GRD 50/70. I went on value for money and to get a camcorder of this quality for less than £300 is amazing. I am sure the Panasonics and Sony are better quality, but it is what you do with the camera which is important. If you are a first time buyer or need a good value camera - go for it!
