Great Vacation Get Away. Very Easy To Get Away And
Great vacation get away. Very easy to get away and chill out. Great Scuba diving.
Easier to get to than the Caymans or Virgin Islands. Beautiful clear water.
Nice temperatures. Very efficient and courteous staff, super New Years celebration overlooking the harbor, fireworks etc. Great Casino and shopping. Young adult children really enjoyed the nightlife. No worries like many have about their daughters in Aruba!

Despite a majority of the reviews I read before I went I found the Harborside Resort at Atlantis a very pleasant experience.If you rememnber you are in another culture that moves a little slower than America (isn't that why you go on vacation) and treat the staff as you would you'll have a great time.

Paradise Island, Harborside Resort at Atlantis - I really love going to Paradise Island. I recommend you to stay at any of the Towers or Harborside resort, but do not eat at the Blue Marlin. The customer service was bad, and they have roaches. A roach crawled on our table, and we could not eat, and we still were charged for our food.
I Liked Bahamas But Would Not Choose Stay At Atlan
I liked Bahamas but would not choose stay at Atlantis again. If it were free, I'd still ask to stay at another resort on the island. (But free is the only way I'd stay there. :-)
With all due respect to timj - rating of 1 below - he must have had a bad day/week. Atlantis/Harborside might not be everyone's cup of tea - expense being the usual negative heard about the resort. But to rate the resort a 1 and say he would not stay there for free is just silly and looses the reviewer all credibility.
Expensive yes, but not as much as it seems if done right - rent at harborside from an owner and plan ahead to save on food.
Most reviewers with credibility rate the resort a 9 or 10 with the caveat that its is expensive - even then reviewers will say "do it if you can". A 1 rating? Just plain silly - and very unhelpful for travellers looking for credible feedback!!!
