“Very good value, customer service not perfect”

I booked a short trip to Paris with Superbreak, without reading these review sites. Having read the review sites just prior to going - I was terrified about what might happen. This was in particular as I felt it was a very good deal (Eurostar plus 3 night stay was about £200 - Eurostar alone booking so late was £200). I'm pleased to report that the trip went very smoothly. “rail travellers beware”

Just returned from weekend in London booked with Superbreaks which included first class rail travel.The return journey was delayed by more than one hour and the train operator advised passengers to reclaim 50% of the cost of tickets.Thats fine if you did not book with Superbreaks because with Superbreaks tickets you will not be entitled to the refund… Read Full Review

“Amsterdam break”

Would certainly recommend Superbreak, my husband and I booked a 2 night stay in Amsterdam, this included overnight on P & O ferries, coach transfers, hotel accomodation and a riverboat cruise down the canal. The location in Amsterdam was 6 stops from the central station in Artis directly opposite the zoo, the hotel was The Hampshire Lancaster. “Excellent package”

We booked a two night hotel stay including breakfast on both days and an evening meal on the first night. The booking was easy and very efficient. We received confirmation and voucher within 24 hours. The break itself was excellent from start to finish. We have previously booked at another hotel through Groupon and there is no comparison between the two. went 27th june to Bruges .booking was easy ,hotel in Bruges ,{Ibis] spot on few mins walk into main square. spent 2 nites in Bruges expensive but worth it , wouldnt do bunks sleeping on ferry again ,niether of us could get up on top bunk ,would be better single fold up beds ,we had great time .looking forward to our next trip ,would not hesitate to book with Superbreak again… Read Full Review

“Superbroke after Superbreak”

Following a communication mix up I booked a railbreak on the wrong dates. As the break was two months away I called SB 12 hours later to amend from a Tuesday to a Thursday. After speaking to three customer service agents and the hotel, I did manage to change the hotel (the hotel helped immensely in this)but I was told the train tickets were non refundable. Booked a break originally through Thomson Travel Agent, Aberyswyth with Superbreak. I simply asked to see if i could change the dates of my break to Barcelona with them (2 months in advance of departing) to a later date next year, quite prepared to pay an amendment fee. Their reply was 'sorry it is not our policy on this holiday'.) £500 loss to me. Complete lack of empathy, or customer service, being any priority to the employee who i dealt with what so ever. I made a phone booking for a two-night Eurostar break in Paris for three of us, all adult women, four weeks in advance of travel dates. I booked a special weekend away with my local travel agent, who deal with superbreaks. It was a 3 night break to lisbon in a 5* hotel. We arrived on thurs evening with all the paper work, booking voucher, CONFIRMATION, receipts,insurance, atol protection, etc,etc to be told by reception they had no booking for us and were completely full. “Wicked The Musical”

We had a fantastic evening at the Apollo Theatre Victoria being entertained by the cast of Wicked. A great musical with some subtle jokes and the two main characters (witches) had sensational voices. “Theatre breaks”

don't book a theatre break with super break!1 Their so called Top Price tickets are not top price. From what I can see searching other ticket suppliers they are calling 2nd lowest tickets top price. They wont confirm your ticket at booking just telling you its a top one. This means that when your ticket arrives not only do you find its not a premium seat but you have been vastly over charged for the hotel. much cheaper to book Hotel and tickets separately. We booked onto the Eurostar through Superbreak and received our confirmation and realised we had been booked onto a train in the evening when we specifically booked the morning train. “Murder Mystery”

WOW! A FANTASTIC event. My friend and I went to Bruges and did not know what to expect. The storyline, actors and event was exceptional. Initially there was a problem with hearing, but once informed, this was sorted. The cast mingled with the 'customers' and even when seen in the bar or on the day trip. they remained in character. For Heaven's sake do not get your tickets lost or stolen because they could not careless if you were stranded! Our bag, which had our tickets home inside, was stolen. When we rung up Superbreak they couldn't give a toss. The person on the phone just said "Buy new tickets" and then hung up without another word. My mother, who was with me, actually emailed you on her iPad about it on 27/8/2013 and got the same response.

One line: Can't help you.

Telephone call on the same day got the same reaction.

Dad at home tried on the same day same response again. "Can't help you".

At the very least you can trace the email. You MUST be aware that this goes on.

“SUPERBREAKS - NOT A GOOD DEAL!”

Unfortunately, I decided to book a theatre break in London with SUPERBREAK. I paid £418 for 2 people for a one night stay in the capital, including standard return rail fare, a top price theatre ticket and budget hotel with bed and breakfast. This price included a £20 discount - autumn discount. My thoughts were that as I was getting top price theatre tickets it would be well worth it. “Excellent deals available”

Superbreak itself is really good and if you can find it you can grab yourself a real bargain, just make sure you do your research on some of the hotels as things can appear better than they are. Depending if you are going for the area and only looking for a bed for the night then you will find many of these. I personally like superbreak and would recommend it to a friend as you get a good choice of hotels (see above) and the rail travel is included and lets face it that is what can be the most… Read Full Review
