Bought my new black dial Omega Seamaster back in April 2009. The Co-Axial revolution really is a revolution. In sharp contrast with all my other mechanical high-end watches, I have NEVER had to adjust the time on this Seamaster, it runs +1 second during the day and -1 second during the night, when it spends time on my nightstand. That makes it more accurate than even many of my quartz watches, and that while it takes a lot of abuse. I not only wear it to the gym and high-stress environments like ...

I have worn my Omega Seamaster -Automatic - for 35 years, during all sorts of strenuous activities ( Parachuting and Rock climbing etc.) it has never let me down and has only been serviced once. The two press buttons have been lost and I would like to have the watch serviced again, but last time, it was away in Switzerland for nearly 3 months. Never again!!

Bought the Seamaster professional automatic chronometer six years ago with the black face.
Took it to Omega service centre at the Royal Exchange in London for service, told them it was slightly losing time, but not much, came back four weeks later looking like a new watch.
All the scratches and a few dents on the case accrued over six years every day wear had been polished out, the movement had been cleaned and adjusted, and over a three week period it has lost just twenty nine (29) seconds.

It is really a very unhappy experience to have got a lemon (Ref No. 21230416101001) (Watch No. 90630423) from "OMEGA". Literally a shock to find the expensive watch malfuntioning and I was horrified at the rather "go to the dogs" kind of Omega after sales service. Its nearly two months since a formal complaint now and nothing has been resolved. After neumerous emails to Omega's head office in Switzerland, the whole issue is giong nowhere.

Fantastic watch. had the Omega Seamaster for 4 yeas and just upgreaded to the Chrono Diver model. Looks cool yet a timeless design. Very durable. Sturdy, looks great, werable in any occasion. The stainless steel finish looks great but can scratch easily. Adds to character I feel, but if this bothers you it's a negative point. I personaly prefer the Blue dial to teh black one.

Just bought a Planet Ocean from Goldsmiths on 36 months interest free, £2150.00.

Had an Automatic Seamaster for 8 years prior to this. No problems, expensive to service though.

Omega SMP Co-Axial 41mm Black Dial - Oh how I love this watch. Beautifully understated, The weight, feel, design and build quality are impossible to fault. I had read the benefits of the co-axial but the accuracy is stunning; over the 10 days since I got this watch it is pretty much dead on to the second I have not had to alter the watch at all. This is quartz accuracy in a 'real' watch! Combine this with extended warranty and service intervals and the co-axial speaks for itself

Feel & Weight - exude quality! The ease with which to read the time - day/night. Style and functionality are also equal to it's reputation. I love this watch - 2254.50 type. BGought in Kuwait for 440KD - goo price & w/o taxes.
The black face of the 2254.50 makes this Omega Seamaster Men's Chronometer watch perfect for those who want to wear a luxury watch AND not really show off...it blends well w/ all styles of clothing and feels great on the wrist! I wouldn't sell/trade/give this watch - ever ...

I've have had my Omega Seamaster for over 6 Years, it is just fabulous! I also have a Rolex GMT, but prefer the Omega, so much so that I've just gone and bought a Chronograph version in Black, it only came out last year. :-)

I have lived with this Omega Seamaster Men's Chronometer watch for over a year now and when I have it on it always feels a bit special.
Visit your high street supplier and negotiate, they may do a deal (mine did).
It is not worn every day as I have a small collection of nice watches but recently it has been used for two or three weeks at a time and is a nice understated piece of quality.
Blue dial co-axial is comfortable on the wrist and looks understated, not too flashy.
Time keeping is as acc ...

Thoroughly recommend this watch but don't buy in haste - do a bit of old-fashioned bargaining at independent watch retailers (and be prepared to walk away if necessary) as it is highly likely that pricing will come down a lot in 2009-2010.
Regrettable that James Bond has kept pricing artificially high for 6 months.

A watch with a little more sophistication than the Rolex and others due to the fact that the loadsamoney (80's) and Cityboy (90's) tended to avoid it - thank heavens for that.

This is a great watch. It is accurate, reliable, and very fashionable. The watch can be easily seen in the dark and is great for my diving. Every thing is to my liking and I would recommend this masterpiece to anyone who is searching for a watch.

This is a great watch and I would reccomend it to anyone willing to spend a few thousand dollars, but it's definitely worth it. The watch is easy to clean, easy to use, but not so easy to repair. I have had the watch for 20 years now and have only need ...

My Omega Seamaster Men's Chronometer is a dream purchase after years of waiting - purchased online from an authorised Omega dealer in Lancaster - Banks Lyon who's service was excellent (apart from not altering the strap as requested resulting an the extra charge - buy hey I didn't want to send it back for alteration having just received it)

I was very disappointed with my Seamaster because when I bought it, I noticed it had a tiny particle on the sapphire glass on the dial. I took it back and it took them a week to fix it. Now I don't know where they sent it. Also I'm concerned with the accuracy, I was expecting something close to perfect. I've only had it for about a month.

Inner dial came loose on my Omega Seamaster Men's Chronometer half a dozen times and needed to be sent back for repair each timeOmega service center took a long time to repair watchTime keeping degraded over time (8 years) despite annual cleaning.

I feel there are way too many watch options at this price point and below to have to put up with anything but the best craftsmanship.

Understated and reliable. I went for the new ocean planet chrono with an orange rubber strap and is very hard to keep clean and scuff free. However, it's all good in my books.

I like the way the Omega Seamaster comes in three sizes - Ladies, Gentlemen's and Pilot's. Not being a pilot, I selected the more discreet and understated middle sized model. My everyday work watch is a Seiko Premier, but while I've been on a foreign assignment for the last three months, I've worn the Seamaster every day regardless. Maybe I'll sell the Seiko...

It is not as exclusive as it used to be (but when a product is this good it's understandable that it will become very popular). Quite simply the only watch you will ever need!
