Good Points: Timeless good looks Beautifully constructed Quality in a modest way which is classy in it's self
Bad Points: Loosing it
General comments: This watch (in my opinion) is better in looks and construction than any Rolex. I don't see why any man would not invest in this life long friend. Stop purchasing things for others for once and buy this for yourself. You'll never regret this buy ever!. Watches this good are only matched by an Omega Seamaster.

Had this for 9 years now. Wear it all the time including swimming, saunas, cycling, golf etc. Never had a problem with it and doubt I'll ever replace it. Cost a lot of money at the time but it still looks as good as when I bought it. Friends who buy cheaper watches seem to be changing them all the time presumably because they break so it makes sense to buy one really good watch rather than loads of cheapos.

I love these watches, but can't afford a new one. I found the one I want - one day, it will be mine!

I recomend the Omega Seamaster. I am a James Bond fan which put me onto the watch in the first place but I have been looking for ages and now I have it I absolutely love it and as far as I am concerned I hope i still have it in fifty years. I prefur Daniel Craig as Bond but as for the watch, well I am going to stick to the SMP. If I were to buy another it would only to go for the co-axial escapement.

The Omega brand is simply a great value. The speedmasters and seamasters are classics. Omega has been tied to some of the most important events in history. No other watch has been to the moon. What else is there to say?

What sold me on the Omega Seamaster 2254.50 is the fact that it is the particular Omega model being compared to the Rolls-Royce of watches- the Rolex Submariner.
And when I read this review (http://www.rolexreferencepage.com/articles/2.html), I immediately knew I HAD to have one.
In that review the 2254.50 won the contest over the Submariner! Yet it has the perfect mix of something that can be worn on a daily basis and something just kept in the vault, as with the case of most Rolex owne ...

There are some people selling the old style watch which is model number 2531.80 used for £700-800. Stating the replacement cost is £1600. This is sort of true if you upgrade to the 2220.80. However the 2220.80 comes with the new style movement which is the co-axial. Don't buy a 2531.80 for £700-800. Just go out and buy the 2220.80, believe me it will be worth every penny. So to recap 2531.80 old style watch used ones only. The new version is the 2220.80 which is the new style c ...

I've had my SeaMaster watch for 10 years, and it's just had its first service with Omega. It's come back looking like new.

My fiancee wanted to purchase me a watch for a wedding gift. She asked me what I wanted so I went out looking. As soon as I saw it and looked at the details of the mechanics, I proved to myself again that things which are simple are the only ones that have the potential to be great. My movement powers it; how efficient. I look and I see the time; how simple. At night it glows; how quaint. And the Omega Seamaster Men's Chronometer watch tells me with its weight on my wrist, "for you I am he ...

I will not buy another watch because I know that I would not wear it. My Omega SM is one of my proudest possessions and I enjoy it every day all day. It is well balanced and as a result very comfortable to wear. I noted that it scratches easily but I am very careful with the watch and although I wear it most of the time I do not when cycling or motorcycling. I am sure that neither would harm the works but I will not take a chance. This is the amazing part. This watch has been within 10-25 second ...

What fantastic watches Omega make, they're so good my Dad got himself one (after he'd seen mine)when he went on Holiday (saved @£300)! And if it's good enough for James Bond, it's good enough for me! Pricey, but worth every penny (can always leave it for your son in your will!), an investment I think.
