Bought these for my daughter they are good straightners does what is say only complaint I have is I bought these in may 2012 off eBay with a warranty of 12 months. We have been using them all fine but the black cover-in over the wires has slipped down so the wires at exposed so it is unsafe to use it should not happen so dangerous when wanting them replaced I get no reply so have left this as a warning for other.

Other straighteners that I purchased of a different make, previous to my GHS Ceramic Hair Straighteners, and costing around £70.00 also blew up after 13 months, so just a hazard of most of these products I think.

I bought these GHS hair straightners because they were on offer at a very good price, and claimed to have the same result as GHS's. Although they are quite easy to use and affordable, they dont keep your hair straight for longer than about an hour!!! If you want a pair of straighteners that are going to keep hair straight and unfrizzy, these are definately not the ones to go for!

Not sure about GHS Ceramic Hair Straighteners for the price they are amazing but they break, and from other reviews on the site this happens quite often. If you want really good but not particularly reliable straighteners buy them.

GHS Ceramic Hair Straighteners work, my hairs thick corse and curly- I'm Asian. It does straighten it though it does take time and it doesn't stay straight for ages but kinks a little at front, though I have got lots of layers. Ghd is better but this straightner isn't bad at all. I think its bit unfair to say its rubbish as it straightens mine. Though it did take while after a shower when my hair is dry to do so. I straighten my hair every day. Also with all straightners buy protection spray. For the price it's good, I have had them since August and I and my sister both use it in the morning. I have dropped my GHS lots of times and works ok still.

I was not overly impressed by the GHS straighteners, I bought them to replace my non-ceramic ones, but I actually get better results with my own. The GHS didn't seem any hotter than the ones I already have and snagged my hair everytime I used them. My hair was sleeker when I used my non-ceramics compared with the GHS. I was disappointed and will be sending them back.

GHS Ceramic Hair Straighteners are a waste of £38.00.
The reason that I brought them was the price and it was 100% ceramic. I have got a pair of GHD and after 3 years they are worn out. So I decided to get new ones. I did a search and I came across www.ghs-direct.co.uk. These straighteners claim to be like GHD so I gave them a try.
They arrvied the next day and look as same as GHD but does notdo the job as well as them.

The reason is my hair did not stay straight. It loses its smoothness and straightness after a while. I even used protected spray as well. It gives you smooth, glossy, straight hair, but not for long or the next day. The lead is dangerous because it gets tangled and knotted up. My dad's an electrian and he said the straighteners can blow up due to the lead being tangled up. I have sent them back waiting for a full refund because I was not happy with the overall results.

Im going to Save up and buy a new pair of GHDs which are the BEST ones around and do what they claim. Save your money on buying GHS you get much better ones around which are safer.
