just got my phone bill from vodafone only to find out that 118888 charged £9.98 for six minuets and did not text me the number at all will not call the rip off firm and will tell all about them. will also be calling treading standards. (read more)

Why do the government allow rip off merchants like this company steal money from peoples pockets ??
I dialled their number by accident and for the 9 seconds i was connected to the number i was charged the princely sum of £1.70 !!
Whats the betting that the boss of this greedy company drives a very flash car and lives in a house that takes days to walk round !

SHAME ON YOU !! I ACTUALLY GIVE YOU NO STARS

I called last week and was given the wrong number - not even in the same country. Called back to complain (stupidly) and ask for the call cost to be credited back to me and to get the correct number. After 2 mins of incompetence was eventually given the correct number - total cost £5.00. Complete scandal. Should not be allowed to operate! Tried to rate service as zero but had to give it 1 to register. (read more)

What a con spent over four minutes on the phone because the idiot could not find the number I wanted cost me over seven pounds for nothing went on to yell.com later at home and the number came straight up cost me nothing certainly will not use again should not be allowed to operate (read more)

Bloody rip off!

£7 for 5 minutes!!

They can SOD OFF, this really is a vile use of the Monopolies act, and I think I'll use the BT 118118 service in future.

On my latest phone bill I've been charge £3.99 for a 3min 36 sec phone call to 118888. A total RIP OFF. The old 192 service was so much better value. I thought opening up the market and introducing comeptition was supposed to drive up service and drive down prices. What a con trick. (read more)

118888 staff are both friendly and helpful and actually sound like they enjoy their jobs!
They have always given me the right number first time and I don't use anyone else now.
Not the cheapest, but definitely the best value for money. (read more)
