    I am currently in my fifth week of trying to return a pair of boots. I have several reassuring emails that the courier will come and that the matter will be treated as urgent, and still I have the boots, one month after I received them, so no refund. I am extremely unhappy with this lack of service, and would not shop with La Redoute again for this reason, unless La Redoute revise their returns policy to guarantee pick-up within one week of the customer requesting a return.

    They have massive sale from time to time and the price is amazing if you manage to buy anything during that time, however I often feel the quality of the items match the sale price rather than their full price. The process of ordering and delivery of items seem to take much longer comparing to other shops while I thought La Redoute is online exclusive (I would expect them to be more professional and efficient than other high street shops that also sell online).     I have been using the payment facility in My account. Must have had a typo on the card details and voila a letter appeared. When i logged into my account my balance had doubled. They had kindly charged me a £ 12 admin fee and a £ 12 late payment fee. They must be manually processing the payments behind the scenes which is not good for an online store !. Have closed my account and will not deal with them again ! Never dealing with the company again

    I have ordered from La Redoute for several months. The only thing that I am sorry about is that I had not ordered from them a lot sooner. Now, they have closed down their US online site and I am wondering where, when and how I will ever be able to order more La Redoute clothing.

    I see them as a dark horse in the fashion industry, I've had clothes from there that no one else has but they love and ask 'where did you get that from?' I simply smile and keep the secret to myself.

    I wished I'd never placed my order with La Redoute! And once this mess is sorted out, will never bother again! I seem to be experiencing exactly the same situation as many people on this site regarding La Redoute. Having spoke to a seemingly unhelpful customer service employee, I'm now left not knowing where my item is! and when I'm even likely to receive it! HA! Great!     I love the clothes - especially the Soft Grey and La Redoute 'essentials' brands. There are some amazing bargains to be had in the sales. Branded sportswear is generally the same price as you'd find on the high street whereas some mail order catalogues bump the prices right up.

    Generally, I'd say the good points outweigh the bad. I have not had cause to use the customer services department yet so cannot comment on this.

    I made a great deal buying La Redoute's clothes. I dress trendy and didn't spend a fortune for that. I will certainly buy more clothes with them.
    Good prices, good quality, easy website. The customer service was great and on time. Very polite.

    Ordered item of baby clothing for my grandson on 19th May, was assured item was in stock and the order would be processed immediately. 27th May received package containing a new catalogue, a sample packet of Special K breakfast cereal and invoice informing me that goods ordered "TO FOLLOW".     I love the choice of products at La Redoute. They offer classic garments as well as unique and trendy stuff. The choice of colour is very good so that you don't have to get stuck thinking "I like the design but I don't like the colour...". They are also reasonably priced.
    But their customer service is poor. They definitely don't put customers first. They send goods out whenever they want. They also send out whatever free gifts (sometimes the same gift under different promotions).

    On my first order, I received my clothes and free 'mac' and had no problems. However, on my second order, they have asked me for another £10 and are not sending my items until I do so. I noticed that they have paid my cheque in already though. I have tried to ring them twice and have waited 15 minutes on the phone - disgusting. Have also sent an e-mail to which I have had no reply and now have been sent a statement saying that I am in credit. Would definitely not use them again.

    I ordered some clothes via an order form that came with the La Redoute catalogue. The clothes arrived and were lovely. The free gift - a luggage set - did not. I also noticed that the delivery note didn't day anything of the free delivery or discount that was promised, so I contacted customer service.     I ordered some shoes online to wear to a wedding overseas, and paid extra for postage as I was going abroad the followign week. Four days after ordering it, still no sign, and after 20 minutes on the phone, nobody could find record of my order. I literally spoke to 10 people (including team managers who never called me back as promised) with no results, and what was most frustrating was that nobody could tell me that I wasn't going to be charged at a later time.     I decided to batch by all my Christmas presents for friend's and family's children this year from La Redoute. That was my first mistake.
    I ordered on 15th November to give them plenty of time to deliver, I knew at the time that some products were out of stock but the website had the re-stocking dates which seemed reasonable.
    The majority of the clothes did not arrive until the week before Christmas (and some never arrived at all) which did not give me time to wrap send them on to outside the UK ...

    Tried buying my Christmas present from here. Out of 33 items ordered, I ended up with 15, half of which were no good because the items to go with them were unavailable (eg in a trouser suit, the jacket was received, but the trousers were unavailable).
    It didn't help that the courier lost the first parcel which I was subsequently charged for and had to claim for.

    They send you an excellent offer saying order £20 worth of goods and you will receive a free jacket plus £5 off and if you order online you will also receive free delivery... too good to be true? Yes! I ordered online and was charged full price for the goods plus I did not receive free jacket or free delivery, sending them an email they said I did not quote the internet code for this offer.     I ordered a cupboard from La Redoute in April 2007. The catalogue states that the item is delivered in two separate parts. Since then the credit card has been charged hundreds of pounds and I have received three incomplete deliveries. Each time, I am told that I have to arrange for a return of the half delivered item, and re-order the item to receive both halves.     La Redoute sell quirky clothes, and people ask where you have got them from. Dresses can come up big, so order a size smaller than normal to start with.
