I took my girlfriend to see Wicked on Tuesday 17th November which we both enjoyed, however the seats we had were in row 'T' just 5 rows from the back and required a lot of looking through theatre binoculars to see any detail on the stage. These tickets are available from Ticketmaster for £20 each. The pub we visited 'The Shakespeare' near the theatre had a special menu for those with a pub passport which was essentially the 5 cheapest items from the menu, the total value of our food and drinks was less than £15. If you want to go the theatre in London, book it yourself. Pay less get more.

Their "unbeatable customer service" is non existent. I have emailed twice and have not yet had a repy. They state they will reply within 48 hours, I have waited over two weeks for a reply.

I purchased a voucher from 'fun activity superstore'costing me £97.99, unfortunately 4 months down the line and many an email later I still have not received my voucher. Having followed exactly what I was told to do to ensure my voucher's safe arrival I am still waiting!! The customer service is awful, being fobbed off with a 'system error', 4 months is a long time to have a system error. I feel robbed of nearly £100. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Given as a gift ...

I purchased London Theatre & Dinner for two for my husband and me for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary as we had already booked a 4-nights stay in London from 24th -28th October. On phoning in September to activate the voucher for our chosen theatre I was told that no bookings were being taken until 23rd November. On being told by Activity Superstore that there was nothing that could be done about it I asked for details of their customer services dept and emailed my comments, expressing my concerns ...

Absolutely disgusting and a complete con. Bought a massage pack for my mother. The pack CLEARLY states plenty of LONDON locations. We tried to book 2 months before expiry date and was told none of the London locations are available as they have been discontinued (perhaps even the these "locations" no longer want to deal with them). Was offered other locations (nearest was 29 mile drive away as opposed to a tube ride, and of course its non-refundable. Am I right in thinking this company shou ...

A disgraceful service. I had a ticket for a meal at a restaurant and theatre, the delux option, but was subsequently booked into a pub. I was told that this entitled me to 1 course, but i could have 2 courses for an extra £20 or 3 for an extra £40. Since when does a starter and a pudding cost £40 in a pub for 2 people??!!

Rude staff, non cooperative. YOu will get the package cheaper by contacting the suppliers. Steer clear is my advice.

I booked the London Theatre & Meal for 2 Experience for my parents as an anniversary present and paid £99.
After numerous phone calls and emails to try and book they were told they couldnt book this as it was not 8weeks in advance - nowhere does it say there has to be this long advanced booking.
EVENTUALLY (Bought vouchers Dec 08) i was able to change these vouchers (Sept 09) for something else however i am still having some difficulties booking this.
Never book/buy experiences that are ...

I must admit when I read these reviews back in July I didn't expect my Experience to go very well. However I phoned them to book my slot, the voucher arrived, I phoned to book Single Seater Racing with the Silverstone Venue and was put on a waiting list - I was waiting 4 days and all the paperwork turned up, it wasn't cancelled, I had no trouble contacting anyone and the day out was absolutely fantastic. I'm sorry other people have had a rough ride, but mine went smoothly.

I only rated this company with one star because thats the least you can suggest. If I could I would rate it with no stars!

Worst customer service ever!!! My gift had a very short expiry date so when I came to use it I was disappointed to find I had a £50 postcard, as activity superstore made it very clear they were going to do nothing to resolve the problem.
My suggestion to future customers is to take £50 and burn it as there is no point giving a penny to this company.

Appalling customer service and appalling value for money. At the last minute I was told there were restrictions on bookings and I could only go on weekdays, unless I paid a supplement out of my own pocket. The price of the package is much higher than the price of booking something direct anyway. When I complained to Activity Superstore about this it became clear they didn't care one jot.

    Activity Superstore....

Terrible customer service, terrible administration - overall a service I would never recommend, even to my worst enemy.

6 weeks after sending my voucher which they lost, I still am no closer to booking my activity . The availability seems to be week days only which is rubbish. They promised me (like they have done about 3 times already) that they posted my the voucher yesterday - I will be gobsmacked if it is there when I get home tonight.

My partner bought this for a ...

My daughter bought the London Theatre and Dinner for Two package from Debenhams as a Christmas present to my wife and I. We made our phone call and a booking was made for 6 weeks or so later (July). On arrival at the theatre that we had chosen our tickets and food vouchers were there ready.
Activity Superstore advertise the Best Seats in the House, ours weren't even the second best. Maybe if the Stalls was full I may have understood, but there were twice as many empty as full.
    Never the less we ...

Activity Superstore obviously do not understand the meaning of customer service. They now inform me a telephone conversation is a confirmed booking even though they alledgedly sent out written confirmation (not received). The question is asked why send written confirmation if they treat the telephone call as confirmation. To top it all off, I sent an e-mail to customer service on the 10th June immeditely after I rang them to learn my alledged booking was the 14th June to see if this could be alt ...

Just arrived back from a London Theatre and meal for 2. What a load of rubbish and a rib off. My friends paid £99 for the 'experince' and when we got our tickets from the Theatre we had the worst seats possible and the face value of the tickets was £20.50 and the meal at a local pub was for one course off a special menu and a half pint of lager, beer or soft drink. I don't think it would have cost me more that £3- £5 if I had bought it myself. So we had an experien ...

Given voucher for a Well Being Treat but Activity Superstore no longer links with the organisation Gifted Holistic Health which was given as the contact. Superstore say that they are trying to arrange another partner to work with but could give me no date when this might happen. So I cant use the voucher!

Have asked for cash refund - waiting to see how long it takes. Other peoples efforts to get quick refund dont seem good.

    AWFUL!!!
When i booked my activity for a photo makeover through Activity Superstore i was sent the wrong details and the contact details were for a manicure!! I then contacted them 3 times to finally get a response to give me the email adress which they got wrong again by putting .com instead of .co.uk!! After finally taking part in my experience the man who showed me the pictures was rude, ignorant and conned me out of my £30 "fully refundable" booking fee telling me he was throwing in a ...

I am fuming, Activity Superstore is the worst comany I have ever dealt with.I was given a voucher for Health club day pass (for two). It was purchased in November 2008. I received it for christmas 2008. Due to the available locations I was unable to use this voucher.

I phoned twice in January 2009. I was advised to send the voucher back to you with the alternative activity requested and any extra monies due.

I returned the voucher with a cheque for £4.00 requesting paintballing for 4 ...

Awful awful awful, took me many attempts to manage to book, as Activity Superstore never rang back when they said they would. When misplaced voucher was told in no uncertain terms that there was no way I could have the experience even though I had all their correspondance and my booking number. Worst service I ever received from a company.
