“Had to pay to try a cardigan on!”

I ordered a cardigan for the first time from the online store. It arrived and was nowhere near a medium. It was like a large man's cardigan, so I had to return it. There was no freepost return sticker, and it appears you have to pay to return their goods. So their sizes are crazy, and you are punished for wanting to try one of their products on because you have to fork out to send it back! Effectively it cost me £3.50 to walk into their store and try something on. (read more)

Ordered email voucher on 24th Dec assuming would arrive within 30 mins or so of payment ( like Amazon). 5 days later still awaiting voucher to arrive via email!( And yes spam folder was checked). This was supposed to be a last minute Christmas present, however contacted Cust services who sent over the voucher code but not in any capacity that could be printed off and presented nicely in a card! I ordered a raincoat on 10th December for my son hoping it would arrive for Christmas. When ordered it was shown as in stock and the order went through but nothing was delivered and no communication was received to explain why. Today (27th December) I rang to find out why it hadn't been delivered. I was told it was out of stock and had been for a while and would be back in stock again on 5th January. No apology offered. I have shopped in JoJo's many times until I had my little boy a few month ago and decided that this is the worst shop on the high street regarding customer service. I returned one item that was purchased by my friend. As my friend couldn't find the receipt a accepted a credit voucher to be spend on a later date and when I could find something my new baby would need. I would give no stars if I could. I have never written a review before but feel compelled to. I ordered four maternity items online. Ordered a 'splashsuit' for a holiday (in Britain :) ) and it arrived when expected. It was far too big for the size stated and so I decided I would return it when I returned from my holiday. I went in to store when we returned home, and was promptly told it was too late for a refund. Ordered an item from them which was in stock. I didn't pay for next day delivery but I received an e-mail that evening saying it had been despatched and giving me a tracking number. It was actually paicked up from their warehouse the next morning. I received regular updates from them telling me the day it would be delivered (next day) and on the morning of delivery I got an e-mail with a one hour time slot for delivery. I haven't used the website or catalogue only bought from a actual shop, but I find the quality of the clothes fantastic. We have also had gifts from JoJo Mama BeBe and always been happy with the design and quality. My daughter has a PJ set which has stood wash after wash and after months of wear are finally being out grown...but could still be passed on and worn. Overall I'd recommend, a little pricy...so buy in the sale if you can. (read more)

I've given Jojo Maman Bebe plenty of chances but each time I go to their store (in Dulwich) or order something online, I am left feeling disappointed and annoyed. The first time we ordered something online, it said it was in stock and would arrive the next week. Then we received an email saying it was out of stock and would arrive 2-3 weeks later. No apology or offer of refund to buy it elsewhere, as considering we were buying items for a newborn, such a wait was actually quite important.... (read more)

“Unhappy with JoJo Maman Bebe”

I feel ripped off. I bought two wooden toy boxes for £88 and paid £5 for delivery. The boxes were not the same as the website and do not match the playtable. JoJo agreed it is their mistake and will refund the return of the items but NOT the delivery. So I am out of pocket after a load of hassle. If it was my mistake fair enough but their error should not leave the customer worse off! Consider carefully before ordering from JoJo. (read more)

I bought one of these and loved it until the stem snapped, I looked inside and it was rusted and this had caused the plastic to fail. Looking at other reviews of the same item this seems to be a common problem. I keep it dry and only use it occasionally so I was quite disappointed. I took it back to Jojo's but they refused to replace it as I didn't have a receipt and as they put it I could have bought it anywhere. Ordered a fair few things from Jojo Maman Bebe over the past few months and so much of it has either been delivered months later, been missing pieces or broken and takes yet more months to replace.
Additionally, I don't think it's even of that great quality when it does arrive and is in one piece. Certainly not worth what they're charging.
If you can buy it in-store go for it but don't waste your time ordering anything.

I ordered 3 items 2 x toys and a book case. (first time we have used JMB)
The toys were both in boxes which were badly damaged, fortunately they were not fro a present as would not have been able to give them in the state they were in
The Bookcase packaging was badly damaged, when we opened it so was the inner packaging, all the screws etc were loose and the actual bookcase itself is damaged.
Very dissapointing service from what I thought would be a good company.

Ordered 2 items in mid july, still not arrived first week of august. Check order status and it said awaiting stock, although when I ordered the items they said they were in stock. Phoned customer service and was told there had been a problem with some internet orders and they didn't know whose until people rang to chase them. I have ordered couple of times from the website and have been instore. Each time I've had issues. The first time the idems were not delivered by DPD on the day they said but JoJo would not give me a refund. The cost of sending clothes back is rather high and does mean that it can become quite costly. I have ordered a few times in the past from Jojomamanbebe, but never had to return anything. Today I am returning a top, which is completely see-through (not in description in catalogue or obvious from photograph of it) and find that I have to pay my own postage to send it back. I think this is pretty rubbish for a clothes company. It could end up very expensive if you ordered jeans etc. and wanted to then return them. Wouldn't use them again, anyway. I was instantly intrigued to see such interesting words ' JoJo Maman Bebe' and hoping that such might be a Kenyan poet's interesting first book of poetry I decided to investigate further. In fact JoJo Maman Bebe is a supplier of most of what you may need if you are a parent of a baby or youngster - clothing, equipment etc. The company's web site is www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk So where do I find Kenyan poetry?
