“Appalling service”

Appalling service I have given the company one star only because there is no option to give zero. As with all previous reviews, order was placed 22.11.22 and has not arrived. However, despite saying on the 7.12.22 that the parcel was still with Evri, I was the told on the 9.12.22 that I had received it on the 30th November at a time I was in- as you have no doubt guessed this is a complete fabrication and the customer service is appalling. Please use Boden- issue resolved with one email and replacement arrived the next day

“Disaster saved by a brilliant staff member”

On the 1st December I ordered a gift online to be wrapped and delivered to a friend’s newborn in London. Two weeks later I realised I had received no delivery communication, so I tracked my order I was horrified to see a note saying ‘ order being prepared’ when I had assumed the parcel had been sent ages before! I left a very upset email. The next day I rang Jojo customer services to hear a message saying they were taking no telephone calls due to being so busy. I then rang their Bristol shop and spoke to a person - who was very sympathetic but couldn’t access my order of course. She said she would contact their customer services as she would be able to get a response and suggested I try online chat. I did this and was left holding for 20 minutes with no response. At this point I felt totally helpless - I wanted to cancel this order and start again with another company but couldn’t until I had confirmation that I would receive a credit. In the afternoon I still hadn’t heard from Jojo but the person I spoke to had sent me an email saying she had sent an email and had a response from Customer Services, and had stressed that I needed a response ASAP. I thanked her for her help and she sent me a lovely email in reply. Last night I heard from DPD that they would be delivering the parcel today, which they have duly done. I cannot thank her enough, without her I don’t know how I would have been able to proceed. She is a real ambassador for Jojo Mamon, proactive, polite and very sympathetic. I cannot praise her too highly and I hope your company values this exemplary member of staff. Unfortunately though I would never purchase from you again or recommend you to anyone because my experience was so bad and actually very stressful, not the lovely surprise it was meant to be.

“Poorly damaged gift ”

Extremely disappointed with this company, I have complained about it however there response was more on the sarcastic side saying that it was slightly damaged! After I then sent photos to prove that the item was more than slightly damaged they closed the case. I will not be ordering from here ever again. Poor quality service

“Faulty item. Poor customer service”

I received the item later than expected. It is faulty - stitching across the front that shouldn't be there. I sent photographs, and they confirmed that it is faulty. But they are insisting that it is sent back before an exchange is sent. Meaning that they are expecting me to make a special trip to the post office during lockdown... just because they sent me a faulty product... and further delaying the item being received, which was meant to be a birthday present. Not impressed. Poor customer service.

I have received a parcel with missing item (Ergobaby carrier) which cost me over 150£. Been in contact with lady named Mariyam she promised to do an investigation but one week later haven't heard any update. We are going to the holidays next week so Ergobaby carrier is must have on our trip. Very disappointed. I will definitely contact with trading standards

The person I dealt with and her Tunbridge Wells team including Customer Service Team and Brighton Team went above and beyond the normal call of duty to help replace a hat that was lost and not in stock for my son with special needs. I cannot thank them enough for being so understanding and caring, demonstrating excellent communication to get one to us in Brighton. One happy boy, thanks again. Lovely shop, beautiful items and excellent quality.

“Terrible customer service. 28 days to dispatch my...”

I’m appalled and shocked at the very poor customer service I've received for an online order. I placed the order on the 25th October and after several chasing emails I was told they dispatched it on the 22nd November, 28 days after I ordered it. They didn't send me any information or apology for the delay and it was only after I contacted them 3 times that they finally told me this information which makes me think their customer services team either didn’t bother to check or didn’t care to tell me when I initially contacted them. I’m shocked that a modern internet company thinks they can operate like this. I won't be ordering from them again.

“Disappointing online order service”

Ordered 3 items on 27 November for Christmas presents. The website showed 2 of the items would not be available till 8 December. After giving it some thought I decided this was acceptable. On 1 December I received an email telling one item was dispatched (which I have now received), one item was to be delivered in approximately 2 weeks and one in approximately 4 weeks, so I am unlikely to receive that before Christmas.. As one is a garment and one is a toy, it seems to me there is more to it than just one supplier letting them down, while I feel I was persuaded to order by over-optimistic dates.

UPDATE: On 12 December an email said the 2nd item has been dispatched (this is the item I was previously told was going to be 4 weeks from 1 December) and the 3rd item is "Delivery approx. 1 week" (this one was going to be 2 weeks from 1 December). Delivery to them or delivery to me, I wonder? The 3rd item is the toy I mentioned in my review and now it is touch and go whether it will be received before Christmas. I should feel grateful that I'm kept informed, but it will be the last time I buy from them, while the unasked-for catalogues they keep posting will be going straight in the recycling bin.

“Very Poor Service”

I ordered a Sleepyhead Grand Pod for £180 and paid the extra £7.50 for delivery the next day before 12pm as we were going on holiday that day. I contacted their customer service the next day as I hadn't received any confirmation of my order. I was advised that my order had gone through but the item hadn't been despatched. I was told that I would receive it the following day and my delivery charge would be refunded. It eventually arrived after 4pm 2 days after I ordered it. I had to contact them again 2 weeks later to ask for the delivery charge refund. Good item but VERY poor service.

“Review strcitly for customer service ”

I love the products. The quality & designs are nice. However, customer service is terrible. I like to keep things in writing so I have emailed them to request a return. They had asked me for the order number and item numbers for the return & that they would be happy to process it. I sent them back this information and then never got a response back. I sent follow up emailed for a couple of weeks. I sent a new email for a status update and again was asked for the order number and item numbers. Sent that info again. Again, no response. Sent more follow up emails over the course of a couple of weeks with no response. I finally message them on facebook. I was asked for my email so they could look up my info. It's been several days and still no response. I have this box of clothes just sitting here for over 5 weeks now. I just want to send them back and get my money. Only buy from this company if you plan on keeping the items because that has been a huge hassle and annoying.

“ OUTRAGEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I tried ordering items via internet and phone and my card got declined every time because of their system faults. The woman on the phone made me feel like all my cards do not work! I went to the banks to cancel all the transaction cos Jojo still froze money for all of my tries. I have phoned the customer service team to make sure they won't charge me or send the items and got the reassurance the transactions have been declined so no problem. A week later I get 2 emails that the items have been dispatched and they charged me again twice without my knowledge or approval!! Not to mention that they sent wrong items now. OUTRAGEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! POOR knowledge of their own systems!! PUSHY tries to get their customers to buy!! BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ORDER AND DEAL WITH THE INTERNAL TEAM!!!!!

“Very bad for maternity clothes”

A very poor experience with Jojo Maman Bebe… I bought lots of maternity clothes and can only keep 1 item as most of the clothes are WAY too big (and I’m not a skinny girl at all) or have a very bad fit. On top of that 1 t-shirt absolutely stank of cigarettes. Their customer service tried to tell me that the smell came from a fire retardant spray that they use but I can tell the different between a chemical (which other clothes smelt of by the way – not very nice) and strong cold tobacco smell. I’m pregnant, not stupid. She also told me that yes their clothes are ‘generous’ and they recommend to buy a size down: not once I saw this advice on the website and I would have had to buy clothes 2 or even 3 sizes down to fit me ! Returns are not free, you need to pay for the postage which in my case would have been expensive as I’m retuning pretty much everything. The customer service rep still offered to collect the parcel for me but this was only possible Monday to Friday between 8 am & 8 pm so I would have had to take a day off work! Completely ridiculous in this day and age… So I now need to drive to my nearest shop which is 45 minutes away from my house. It’s very bad! I will not buy again from them, maternity clothes or children ones for that matters…

“Terrible customer service!”

I placed my first order with the company for three items. The items shipped rather quickly, but when I received my package I realized 1 item was missing. I contacted the company (they never let me know they didn't have it) and told me it would be shipping in a couple of weeks. Fast forward a couple of weeks - no package. I e-mailed the company THREE times to ask where my item was. Finally someone e-mailed me back saying it still hadn't arrived and it was due in the warehouse on 2/10. It is now 2/16 and no one has followed up to let me know it was coming. I have done so much of the work to find an item I paid for (yes, they have already charged me) and not once has anyone actually apologized for the confusion/inconvenience of the order. As much as I think their clothes are adorable, customer service is what distinguishes companies and theirs is truly awful.

“Tunbridge Wells Store - not worth visiting for boys...”

I visited this store for clothing for my 18 month old grandson on Saturday 30th May. I was most disappointed - one pair of boy's dungarees only in the 18-24 month size. When I asked if there was anything else I was given the 'if its not on the shelf' reply - the sale person seemed almost pleased to be able to say they had nothing suitable for boys. I won't be visiting again in a hurry. P.s. Bought all that I needed from the very helpful staff at Baby Gap.

“Jojo Maman Bebe Returns service appalling”

I bought a gift of clothing as a Christmas present for an 8 month old the first week in December. I made a special journey to buy this as I am 2 hours from my nearest store. The gift included 2 appliqués boys tops and 2 pairs of trousers. I bought their gift box, and gave the items together with the gift receipt. The items looked and felt lovely and were well received at Christmas. After Christmas the first top was washed but didn't wash well. The appliqué part rucked up.the recepient decided to return the items, but the return was refused. This is because: 1.their maximum time for a return is 2 weeks. After that forget it, you can only have an exchange. Their system is locked and they don't seem able to over ride this in the shop. So forget about buying early for a gift. 2. Even within the time limit, a gift receipt is no good, they need the full receipt. They will only refund to the card details given on their full receipt. If paid for by card it only goes back to the same card. So a gift receipt is only good for an exchange and not a refund. The shop looked lovely. The products ditto. But I will never buy from them again given such an unreasonable returns policy especially when compared with the amazing returns service of Mothercare, John Lewis, Next and Boots.

“Faulty Product and Terrible Service ”

I bought a faulty toy from JOJO which resulted in my 12month old being left with a small piece of wood in her mouth. On trying to return the product a) to inform them of the issue and b) for a refund I got nothing but shocking customer service. I have now reported the toy to Trading Standards but am still after 4+ emails to JOJO I have still not managed to get my refund. Which is shocking as it is my legal right as stated in the Sale of Goods act. Just shocking.

“Delivery service terrible”

Ordered for next day delivery due to going on holiday. Parcel did not arrive so i emailed JoJo to request the delivery be returned to them. The item was not returned as attempts to deliver were made every day we were away (5 days). On the evening we arrived home an attempt was made to deliver again, i signed and refused the parcel and was told it would be returned to JoJo. The next day while i was out the parcel was delivered to a neighbour so i had no choice but to go and get it. I have phoned JoJo again (who could see on their system that i had signed and refused the parcel) and they have now arranged for it to be collected which means i need to stay in all day! Kindly they have offered me a full refund as and when the parcel ever manages to get back to them! it is now 9 days since i placed the order. My advice is to use the shops but avoid delivery as they use a very poor delivery company.
