    Good Points: Good online catalogue.

Bad Points: They do not answer e-mails or your questions.

General comments: I bought a mini shed from the Garden factory, which was reduced to £105 (ish). It took over 3 weeks for it to be delivered - flat packed of course! The item was left on my step in full view (not hidden around the back). Putting the shed up seemed straight forward, but some parts did not fit, and they were not level. We had to add extra nails and adjust the roof to fit (it still has a small gap, but not a lot of water gets in as it's under a tree). I would not buy from them again. It was a very expensive shed for how much you can get in. The picture shows you can get flower pots and spades in etc - Spades yes, but flower pots have to be the very small ones, or you could take two shelves out; then you can).

I read the reviews about them after I placed an order with them. After reading them, I have got to admit I was a bit wary of whether I would actually receive the goods ordered, especially as they were at a markedly reduced price than other websites. "Too good to be true" sprang to mind. However, I needn't have worried. I placed the order with The Garden Factory on the 30th of December, and I was informed that the items would not be dispatched until after the 3rd of January, due to the Christmas ...

I experienced appalling customer service from The Garden Factory. When things go wrong, you have inexperience people on the phones who have to put you on hold to get answers from supervisors and they make promises that don't keep. I could go on and on.

I placed an order with The Garden Factory and payment was taken straight away. Great! No problem. Then it all went wrong. I was on the phone to them for 40 minutes on the 4th of July, with no joy. Then I phoned back today and was told that i could not be transferred to customer service as the wait would be huge, as there was only one person working on the phone. What a waste of space.

I've used The garden Factory before and I'll use them again. They have a great range of items for the garden, and I've always found them both helpful and full of good advice. I got my order within a couple of weeks as promised, and both the garden furniture set and rose arch were perfect! I can now enjoy the sun sat on my patio watching my new rose climb the rose arch!

I too have been waiting over the agreed 28 days for a bench from The Garden Factory. I have emailed several times and tried to contact them on numerous numbers, all to no avail. Either you wait for well over 15 minutes or you are cut dead. I have noticed on the Internet that they have a terrible reputation. I am concerned that I won't receive my money back.

I received a terrible service from The garden Factory. I ordered a shed on 16/4/06 from them and the money was taken straight away. It's now 24/5/06 and still no show. I cannot contact them by any means. They will not reply to emails, and I can not get through on the phone. I have now contacted my credit card company to get my money back. I will never use them again!

I ordered some goods from The Garden Factory 4 weeks ago via the Internet. The money was taken out of my account and I am still awaiting a delivery. I, like all the other people, have exactly the same issue. Can't get through on the phone (at one point the phone line was dead). Emailing takes forever. Being in the North of Scotland I can hardly go and stand on their doorstep. I too am wondering if they have gone bust!? I had a similar problem last year when I ordered garden furniture and ...

I ordered a trellis and fencing from The Garden factory on 08 April 2006. It still hasn't been delivered 5 weeks later. I have called and left numerous messages and emails etc., but I have had no response. Have they gone bust?

After 5 weeks I still have not received my trellis from The Garden Factory. I had an email after 4 weeks to tell me that it would be delivered in 3 days. It was not. I have telephoned dozens of times, and have been told on 2 occasions that I should have received my goods and that it would be looked into. After another week I still have not received them. Now there is no reply from their telephone number, and certainly no response from the 3 or 4 emails that I have sent. I can only assume tha ...

I order a tool shed in March from The Garden Factory. They confirmed my order and took my money. I am still awaiting delivery - 5 weeks later. I have tried to telephone them but it either rings constantly or there is an answerphone message that promises a call back but they never do. I have e-mailed and have only received a vague e-mail promising my item would be shipped "shortly" and would arrive by 3-day overnight freight. I am still waiting.

Just received Luytens bench from The Garden Factory within recommended time frame of 28 days, the bench is fab and we can't wait to show it off to the neighbours when they come round. I did call the call centre to check about the delivery and they were courteous with me at all times. Mr Smith, Barnsley

I ordered using The Garden Factory's website which was quick and easy to use. There were some great offers and I bought a few early Christmas presents as well as a lovely teak furniture set which was half price! I made a mistake on my credit card details but the company rang me and sorted out the problem very efficiently and the person I spoke to was helpful and polite. I got another call to arrange delivery which actually arrived when they said it would and I must say the furniture looks ...

The Garden Factory were efficient at taking my payment. Apart from that, do not expect to be given correct delivery dates. I called them every week and was told that my order would be sent out the next week. Part of my order was delivered eight weeks after order and I'm still waiting for a tool shed to be delivered that was supposedly sent out to me on 16 September. The fence is not fit for the job and I have been offered £20 off my next order. I have tried sending e-mails - the first ...
