I have come back to Goodness Direct again and again over several years now. They have good range of 'alternative' groceries. I particularly like they stock of teas. They have recently made their website easier to use, though I have found their search feature less than helpful. (A Google search with site:goodnessdirect.co.uk might help). Probably, the best thing to do is browse using the "Shop by aisle" index. Now I understand how they think about their stock, finding things is easier. That said, they offer interesting alternatives to the supermarket that are always quality goods.

I am on a Dairy, egg and yeast free diet and have found it hard sometimes to find tasty food that is satisfying. I love all the Clives products i have tried and have just ordered all the ones i haven't tried yet to fill my freezer. The Punka Punka Ice cream is fantastic, can't tell anything is missing at all Yummy just bought two 500 tubs lol. There were a few items i didn't enjoy like the sour bread, bread mixture and the Meridian pasta sauces but i just won't buy the things i didn't like again. Delivery was quick with no hassle, i was out so they just left the box in the porch. I was a bit worried with it being frozen if it was left too long but it comes packed in dry ice so i had no need to worry. Definately be putting this site on my Favorites menu. Highly Recommended :-)

I am a celiac, so I ordered three types of gluten free cookies from the gluten free smorgasbord that is the selection at Goodness Direct. Everything was a bit battered when it arrived - I am not living in the UK - but that is to expect when sending GF cookies in the mail. I ordered two Lazy Day products, ginger snaps and shortbread, and some Trufree digestives. The shipping outside UK is costly, so they ended up costing a small fortune compared to normal cookies, but I don't have anything like the products at Goodness Direct available to me in a "real" shop. Luckily, these cookies are GOOD! I haven't tried the ginger snaps - which were the only ones that held up during shipping, surprisingly - but the digestives are spot-on when held up to my recollection of digestives. A bit salty, crumbly, not too sweet. The shortbread cookies are truly buttery, but a little sweeter and lighter in the texture than I remember from the "real" stuff. Both are better than any GF cookies I've tasted before, though! Overall I'm very happy with goodnessdirect.co.uk and I'll definitely be ordering again - but I'll ration my cookies some and hope for a drop in the postal fee in the meantime.

I am very happy with Goodness Direct. The website has a very broad range of the goods I want. It means I can just do my shopping for Fair trade tea or Ecover etc all in one place.

Free delivery on orders of over £40 works well for me, and they have always been prompt in delivery with everything ordered. The packaging balls are also bio-degradable!
