    I bought a punchbag which cost about £50. I missed the first payment and within a short time was bombarded with phone calls saying I had missed a payment and would be charged £12 for being phoned. I had also received a letter saying I had missed the payment and would be charged another £12. I then agreed to make two payments of £31 which I paid. I then received a letter saying they did not have my number (which is rubbish as they had been phoning me on it!)and so would be charged another £12! About a week later they started phoning me several times every day even on Sunday demanding money which was a measly £27! My warning DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM LITTLEWOODS as they are probably all evil.

    I ordered 4 items of nursery furniture from Littlewoods online on 3rd September. All showed as 'in stock, delivery within one week'. I received one item within the week, when I rang Littlewoods to enquire about the other three items, I was told that two would arrive a week later and the fourth, a cotbed, would be about two weeks.     Order furniture on 20th august from Littlewoods. it came 5 days late than original date, broken. then took a week for them to collect. had to reorder and repay for replacement. still waiting for refund on original order. said they would deliver on 18th sept now it might be 25th but prob be later. thats a month! the manager complained to me that i should wait and its not their fault.

    i ran empire stores for 20 years and was fantastic,since littlewoods took over i have found it to be more expensive,they give offers to me like free next day delivery,and ive found out im later charged for it,i recieved a 12.oo charge for a day late payment direct with credit card, argos has never charged me for a day late,and they offered me buy now pay later which i declined after finding out they charge interest on it at the end, i am now closing my account,

    ordered a bed from Littlewoods waited nearly a month dident arrived was told the order had been cancelled. went to re order the price went up by £70 so i dident went back on the web site there was a diffrent price rang up to order it the price was now £374 went started of af at £219 web site it was £249 checked my statement was not credited for the items according to them i owe more than the origanal order plus i am minus a bed never again

    My wife bought me a laptop from Littlewoods.I have had nothing but problems from day 1. The trouble is you have to deal with two companies, Littlewoods refer you to the manufacturer and they have 4 attempts to resolve problems.You will spend a lot of time and money on phone calls.

    I have been with Littlewoods for 7 months and have had nothing but good service from them.

    It was quite difficult to become a spread the cost customer because I had very little previous credit history but they accepted me a few months later.

    I have made quite a few orders which have all come on time (most alot earlier than expected), packaged well and all items included.

    Littlewoods seem great when you look through their catalogue and when you browse through their website... But BEWARE! They send you a lot of wonderful vouchers and money off gifts but what they dont tell you, is that they accept the voucher code online... then take FULL payment for the order and THEN decide if you're eligable for the voucher... If you are... they refund you the difference... if not they charge you the full ammount without you even knowing. So Beware!

    If you are ordering products from the littlewoods "sale" brochure, beware! You only recieve good at price stated, if you order within valid date which is given in (tiny) print on the back of the brochure.
    I was not aware of this when I placed my order and when I queried why I was charged full price when goods were delivered, was told I would be charged sale price when I received my statement.

    I ordered a Nintendo DSi for my son just before the Easter holidays and was told that it would be delivered by the 9th April. This was fine as he'd receive it in time for the Easter break I thought. Anyway, the 9th came and went and my daughter waited in all day for the delivery.     i placed a order with littlewoods direct yesterday and i had a discount code for 50 pounds off and the total order was 7.77 and i went to the bank today and realised they had took nearly 60 pounds out and i called them up and they said that the voucher wasn't valid but it accepted it and i have the receipt for it so now i am 50 pounds down and not very happy

    I ordered 3 identical items of their website in the 3 for 2 offer. Of the three items that I received only one was what I ordered. The other two products were slightly more expensive items from the same range, according to their website, but in my opinion don't actually reflect as much value for money as what I'd originally ordered.

    They'd already disallowed my discount code (watch out for codes on the net, their Terms and Conditions allow them to claim the money off your card at a later date). ...

    I am soooo angry with littlewoods!I brought things from them paid them off thinking that was the end of it,i keep receiving statements from them why, i don't know!What i didn't know was i somehow i had another account with littlewoods direct,i used the same website so why would there be two?I had no letters from littlewoods direct saying i had been late paying the minimum and no e-mails,until a couple of weeks ago i received a letter from a debt agency saying i owed 250 pounds!!i was so upset an ...

    Seeing as Choice, Littlewoods and a few other well known catalogues that are run by the same company, they are all getting the same sort of reviews. But the main one for Littlewoods is that the APR has shot up far too high (39.7%) and that's because if you owe on your account less than £1,000. The customer service has gotten better over the past few years. Its just the organising of the accounts and the way some of the departments have treated me. My advice is, if you have the money go ...

    Probably no better or worse than any other big catalogue company. Personal experience with Littlewoods has been limited with a single purchase of a pair of sofas at over £1200. Delivery was on the day they stated. I paid earlier than the scheduled time with no penalty. However the order placement was a trial in itself as the sofas came to an amount beyond the credit limit they had for me.     I applied for a Littlewoods accounts, And i was excepted online and was given a 250.00 credit limit to spend,

    Littlewoods - I am currently awaiting the arrival of a fathers day present which i was assured would be delivered the friday before fathers day.     I bought a tumble dryer and unfortunately it broke down, I had a extended service plan which says if they cannot fix it they will replace it which after 4 weeks they have not yet, not to mention about 50 phone calls as far as I am concerned and aware they have not yet contacted me littlewoods. Therefore I am not very happy!

    I dont mind littlewoods and benifit from spreading my payments over a period of time. If an item of clothing has been ordered and they have it in stock sometimes it can be with you in 9 hours LOL, I am not joking. I ordered a pair of boots 6:45 Tuesday eve, by Wednesday morning 9:45 they were on my door step. FANTASTIC!!!!!
