I ordered bed room furniture in February was told it would be delivered in March, on the delivery date i got a phone call to say it won't be for another month April, Now once again it's going to be yet another month its going to be May. I had this same trouble with Argos last year it took them 3 months to deliver a corner unit. I differently will not be buying large items that need home delivery from Argos ever again,

Today i purchased a ,chunky mens 9ct gold neck chain from the Plymouth branch Royal Parade.. Having compared the price quality and availability with other retail outlets, Argos was by far the best value for money. Having been out of stock at one Argos store i visited, the helpful sales assistant on the jewelery counter enquired at a subsequent store and reserved the only one available for my appraisal, at my convenience.

Argos have an extremely easy and fast item reserve facility, a couple of mouse clicks and you order is kept for you. Two seconds after making a reservation, you receive a text and an email with your booking number and the item is kept for two days, when you go to the shop, you can use the payment kiosk and bish-bosh you are on your way. I must have ordered eight items in the last six months, two of them needed to be returned. One was because I changed my mind for something else and the other ite ...

I received both a ten pound Argos voucher for shopping within the store and one for shopping online. Although both were vouchers to be spent at Argos, I could only spend one within the store and one on line. I had wanted to reserve on line and pick up at store but Argos said the item had to be delivered to the house. I feel as they were both Argos vouchers I should have been able to spend them in the store or both on the internet especially as I hoped to pay and collect the second item from t ...

I mostly use the Preston Fishergate store because everyone is lovely and courteous. I wanted to purchase a 32"HD television and the make I wanted was not in stock. The assistant conferred with his manager who promptly told me the merits of a similar model he even done an add on sale which was at bargain price. I am delighted with my televison and with the Fishergate store. It is always clean and welcoming. 10 out of 10 to the manager and his well trained staff.

I ordered 4 things. The website showed no confirmation, but promised an emailed receipt. 3 days later I still haven't received one, but they have debited payment for 3 of the items 4 times and for the forth one 3 times. When I emailed about this, they cancelled the order. When I emailed to tell them not to cancel the order, they told me I needed to quote my order number (which I still do not have). I will never use www.argos.co.uk again in my life.

I purchase a vacuum cleaner just over a year ago. The hose assembly part broke and needed replacement. I looked in all websites including Argos of course, and I think what I was told was unbelievable: Because the item is an import there are no replacement parts for this product! How am I supposed to know this? I was not told this and there is no signage on the box. And I am now feel as though I am getting nowhere with Argos customer services.

Having purchased cooker and freezer from Argos store was then told that the delivery would take 35 days. O.K. but on delivery the freezer was damaged and would take 14 days to replace. then when the electrician came to wire up cooker found that the connecting block was damaged contacted Argos and was told I would have to contact maker this is going to take 14 days for engineer to call. I feel this is not good enough.

Just collected the new Argos catalogue nearly tore a bicep carrying it home. It seems to have doubled in size like one of those Kays catalogues. Kind of liked the original compact version - not too greedy, now I think it's just in your face. Anyway sat down later and I didn't see anything really new and exciting. Good initial concept though.

Bad Points more than negated Good Points, in fact had the first item been delivered with the same ineptitude as the second I would have been mildly annoyed but not out of pocket as I am now.All communication was initiated by me (I even had to request confirmation of my order!)My overall impression was one of a company with complete indifference to customer service.I will never deal with company again and advise all to beware.

I ASKED A FOR A COMPUTER DESK FROM ARGOS AND WAS HELPED NO END BY ONE STAFF MEMBER. HE FOUND OUT THERE WAS ONE IN COLWYN BAY AND ARRANGED FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED TWO DAYS LATER, WHICH WAS ON TIME. EXCELLENT SERVICE, THANKS.

I've never had home delivery I have always collected after reserving the item. My experiences have up to date been good. Any problems or the product not being suitable then then they simply exchange it. You try that with Curry's, Comet, Maplins and they try to tie you up in knots in order not to give you your money back. Keep up the good work Argos.

Argos.co.uk is a great catalogue. Our house is like an Argos Catalogue! I usually check online first, then reserve the item and pick it up at a week day so you can be in and out within 10 minutes. We bought a sofa here and it was delivered fast and by friendly delivery men. From my experience I would recommend this to many!

When myself and my husband got married, we were given Argos vouchers, so we got a side cabinet. We had to wait for it to be delivered but when it came it was damaged. We phoned Argos and they sent another one out that was also damaged. We contacted them again and they sent another one out that was damaged. My husband took it back to Argos and slammed it down on the counter and said he didn't want another one. He asked for his money back, They did give us our money back, but now, if we can' ...

I have never had any products home delivered by Argos. I always collect products in store. I have had my fair share of problems, but Argos have always resolved them with the minimum of fuss. If I have a problem with one of the products, my local store don't even bother to check the item out, they just give you your choice of a refund or a replacement! The catalogue is very clear, and it is brilliant considering that it is free. In my experience, Argos is a great company, and I always try t ...

I have spent thousands of pounds at Argos over the last couple of years. I have noticed that most of the items I have bought have been returns, or are damaged stock. To to add insult to injury, some parts have been missing. I thought this was due to the previous customer not including the item when they returned the item. 3 Philips personal Walkmans have all broken down after 1 weeks usage. Now I only buy from Argos as a last resort.

I ordered a bed from Argos on Thursday evening and selected Monday for delivery (web site said 8am to 6pm). So far so good. I phoned at 8am on Monday (only 5 minutes queue) to get an approximate time for delivery, as I had to go out some time in the day. They confirmed that it would be delivered that day (Monday) but they could not give me a time. So I had to stay at home all day. At 6pm I phoned again (20 minutes queue) and was told it could be any time up to 8pm, but I could check with the ...
