“horrible shipping and customer service”

I ordered shirts/ties and they were not received by the promised date. I had called 2 previous times to inquire about my order. The current called I asked for a refund. 1st I was asked to wait a few more days( well past the 10 business days promised). Then I was told that I could not be refunded as it was too late in the evening (3pm EST). “Quality and value for money - almost free at sale time”

I have been a customer for about 15 years now I think. I started buying when overseas in Switzerland during the 1990's when Nick had just started and I have been buying more and more clothes from the to the extent where I now almost only have Tyrwhitt products. I know that sizing with fit every time from shoes to suits and if you time your purchase for the sales then you are getting real good quality for very little money. I cannot speak highly enough of these shirts. They are suburb. I have over 10 of their shirts now and they all wash and press as good as they day the purchased. I've purchased dress shirts from all of the usual crew, TM Lewin, Savile Row and Thomas Pink. I was switched to Charles Tyrwhitt because I felt the quality and sytles had slipped at TM Lewin and can say I was really glad I did. I've only ordered shirts, but have been very impressed. The shirts are of very high quality and were delivered quickly. In one case Tyrwhitts didn't have one of the shirts I wanted -- but I was informed of this at the point of ordering, not after the point of payment like some websites. I'm a delighted customer & will always use this company from now on. (read more)

“Great web site, great selection. But, the quality is...”

Great web site, great selection. But, the quality is less than promised. I purchased six shirts and two ties, one of the shirts was missing a button, but the main dissapointment was the silk tie which was lumpy, and the falling apart after one use. I hope my items were the exception, but I though it might be usefull to share my experience with others. (read more)

The Charles Tyrwhitt catalogue service is wonderful. The are very accurate, very quick and efficient, and I have never had any problems or complaints. Why can't all shops be like this. (read more)

Customer since over 1 year with over 60 orders. Only 1 claim! Anytime brilliant: the catalouge, the website, the phone service, the order service. No problems to order some articles just for viewing and send it back. Very quick sending by order over the website. Brilliant articles, very good materials. 100% of 100%
