    Ordered a Jacket via the internet, best price of many sites, order arrived bang on the delivery date.

    Addtions direct have terrible interest rates of forty four percent. When I tried to discuss with them they did not want to know just added late payment charges to my account even though I paid on the day. I have found them to be most unhelpful and disappointing. I was told I could not speak to a manager and it was tough luck as I accepted the contract although my contract was at much lower interest rates

    i bougth a lg tv from Additions Direct after 2 week s of use it went of when the engineer came out , he noticed o crack on th eback screen .he said from visual contact there was nothing to indicate and impact but yet when he sent his report bck to the catoluge he said he noticed a crack and that the customer is adament there s been no impac. not a veryt detailed reoprt is nearly 3 week s now with out the tv working and still no futher forward what a disgrace a would never consider buying a pr ...

    Ordered an item from Additions Direct on 15/1, i waited one month, still nothing, then when i tried to get my money back. I found the customer services people were completely unhelpful and for some reason wouldnt even let me access my own account.

    The product ordered they did not have so sent me a different product three times - less value but charging me for the more expensive product. I didn't get my money back until 1.5 months after the initial order and then it was minus the delivery charge. Called at least seven times and have been offered nothing in the way of compensation.     I ordered a Christmas present for my son (4 years old) from Additions Direct. I was told I could have the present delivered to an alternative address but then when I checked the status of my order it had been cancelled. I re-ordered the same present and they failed to deliver it. I phoned to cancel my order and asked for a refund and then asked about another 10 times.     Quite delivery, quality good. I returned a pair of jeans, unworn the same day received, they sent them me back 2 weeks later after accusing me of wearing them, however they had been worn but not by me, I sent them back for the purpose of them being too big and short on the leg! They are charging me 12.50 and a further 3.50 to send them back to me, i am however disputing that these were the jeans I returned and they still fail to investigate their departments to find out just what has happened.     I ordered some matching furniture (a wardrobe and 2 chests) in early August. The wardrobe came and this was all good so I cant fault them for that. I expected the 2 chests to be with the wardrobe but they weren't. I was told that they will be here soon. So after waiting a few weeks, I rang up and was told that I would get a call back from the manufacturer but I never received one.     I would not use Additions Direct again as I feel the service I received was less than poor. They were contacted on a number of occasions and I never received a reply when I was told they would contact me. Delivery from North to South Wales took over 3 weeks and still didn't arrive and still no delivery date given. Was told money would be put into my account in 7 days, after the 8th I again contacted them and was told that this had not been arranged and would need to wait another 7 days.

    Additions Direst delivered item whilst I was on holiday - to someone else - someone else signed for - don't know who - no card put through the door to tell me someone has signed for - they have taken my money from my credit card and I have to wait for them to investigate this matter - I am very upset - I have no goods - no present and have to go into town to buy the item that has disappeared - so spending twice the amount until they refund -

    This is the first time that I had ventured into the unknown and ordered from Additions.

    I placed an order for a futon bunk for my 6 year old daughter, this item was picked by her.

    I placed the order online on 13/04/2008 and paid in full (can't afford their hefty interest charge for the credit)! The printout from the internet stated 'Expected delivery by Thursday 24 April. I rang Additions on 23 April to check on the delivery status, they could not give me a firm guarantee as to the exact date ...

    Have been using the company for about a year now without complaint. Most items were delivered and left where I told them to (as I am out) on the day stated or sometimes earlier. Return service is good, driver collected item within three days or you can take to post office free of charge. Not had to call customer services so cannot comment on that, the website track order service is pretty up to day. I'd recommend this company if you are looking for affordable clothes

    I bought a number of items for my new home from a variety of stores like Additions (Tesco and Argos also), and I was appalled by the poor service from Additions. The delivery options they give you are very inflexible, and when I phoned to try to change arrangements or request a specific day, it seemed the people on the other end of the phone have no more information than is on the website.     Overall I would not recommend this company mainly due to their customer service and lack of responding to the customer and how they treat the customer. This catalogue is not the best especially when it comes to customer service. As for delivery terms these are not the best.

    I ordered a bed, wardrobe and beside cabinets from additions, I got the wardrobe and the bedside cabinet a day before it was due to arrive - which I thought was good. I definitely changed my mind on that as soon as I saw the quality of the wardrobe.

    I paid about £280 for the wardrobe so I expected a decent quality, the wardrobe split and chipped in at least 15 places before we could put it up. Even then it was not stable and was scared it would fall on me whilst asleep. It was so bad we ...

    I ordered a nice simple tumble drier through the Additions Direct website, expecting delivery as stated within 2 weeks. The confirmation stated 3 weeks and 6 weeks later the item had been listed on my Internet account as returned to supplier. Being able to easily get hold of someone to talk to didn't help much as I was told different things by different staff members each time, each who knew nothing about what was going on and couldn't find out either.

    I have been shopping with Additions Direct for some while now and make full use of their 3 months Interest Free Option, which means that you can split the full payment in three and not have to incur charges. A great bonus for people like myself who like to know exactly what to pay and when.

    Personally I like Additions. The clothes are cheaper than their equivalents in other magazines although I guess this is because you have less time to pay off the bill. I ordered underwear recently and although I ordered the same size throughout, the actual sizes were completely mixed. Some were too small, others fitted perfectly whilst some were definitely too large. Still, I think they are excellent value for money and I shall continue to shop with them.

    I have been very impressed with Additions Direct. The delivery is always fast and in general they have most items in stock (unlike other catalogues). The clothes aren't designer quality, but you aren't paying designer prices, think of this as the `New Look' of catalogues. I've been very happy with everything I've got and use this just for cheap and cheeful bits rather than special occasion outfits.
