I bought the TX200HC rifle in walnut and just love it dearly. The walnut grain is gorgeous to look at. I own the TX200 MKIII in beech .22 and like the carbine version better for lightness and balance. There is a difference between the two. My .22 caliber carbine shoots a consistent 698-700 fps so I am happy with that. My TX200 MKIII shoots the same fps so no loss with the shorter carbine barrel. All I can say is that once you shoot the carbine you'll never look back. For reference sake my rifle weighs 8lbs 4oz without a scope and mount. I notice no difference in cocking effort witht the shorter barrel.

Having had my Air Arms TX200HC for a few months i can safely say it is the best spring rifle ive ever owned. theres no twang just a nice thud. unlike many spring guns ive had at a similar price. the power is an average 11.7ft lb. which is what i expect from a full power gun.
good build quality, shoots like a tuned rifle out of the box.

I have owned my TX200HC for 3 weeks now and I have to admit it is a very easy to use and very accurate rifle. I love it but I am unhappy with the finish. The rifle barrel is starting to look pitted and showing rust spots even although the rifle has never been wet and is oiled and kept in a warm room after use. The stock has a small bit of damage at the recoil pad which is unfinished. Even allowing for this I will be hanging on to it because I like it so much.

Make sure you fit scope mounts with a pin that can use one of the three mount holes incorporated in the gun, otherwise you may find your scope getting closer and closer to your eye after a while. I fitted such mounts but still found the scope moving along it's tube. Tighten as much as you dare, then keep a check. I was a bit suprised by this movement as the gun is quite heavy and recoil seems tame and minimal. I'm using twin bolted (16 hex bolts in total) pinned BSA mounts which looked decent e ...

My TX200HC .177 is just a magnificent rifle in every respect. I added a Parker Hale silencer for cosmetic appearance and length and use a Bushnell 4-14x50 Scopechief riflescope. I could nor recommend this rifle more highly to anyone looking for a top quality, no-nonsense spring rifle for hunting or target shooting, or both! I cannot honestly fault it in any way!

Among .177 springers, this is the main "keeper". And since current .22 springers don't offer the flat ballistics of high 900's feet per second, this is my overall keeper even though I have two .22's that deliver 840 fps with normal weight (14.5 gr) pellets at the 22 fpe level. I like to shoot at 1.25 inch circles at 50 yards from an armchair (no direct, sandbag rest), and this one will hit more consistently than any other of several reputable, current and classic guns I enjoy. 4 out of 5 in the ...

After 16 years with a BSA meteor i decided to get a new gun, After looking around i decided on an AA TX200HC.
The weight and safety mechanisms took some getting use to but the accuracy and penetrative power far outweighed any negatives.

The accuracy is something i was surprised with, after zeroing in the sights i was soon hitting the centre of the target (1") at 20 yards with each shot.
I stood 10 5p coins on a bag and did not miss a single shot!! (using bipod) I use AA field pellets and ...

Just received tx200hc set, it all up cocked, its trigger mechanism broken, trigger not engaging, safety not working, so not impressed with gun at the moment or Air Arms quality control will let you know how i get on.

Make no mistakes the Air Arms TX-200HC is a serious hunting rifle. It produces a full 12ft lbs muzzle energy and in the right hands is capable of extremely good performance. It is however on the heavy side, so I can only recommend it to people of a well built stature (more than 3hrs in the field with this rifle takes it toll)

The Air Arms TX200HC is an excellent springer, it is my first air rifle and although it took some time to get used to the recoil/guns shooting characterisics, fifty yards plus kills are becoming regular. With Air Arms Field Pellets the pellet goes straight out through pigeons chests and rabbits heads at fifty to sixty yards. I would recommend this gun to anyone!!!!!!

The TX200HC is the perfect rifle for both the beginner and expert alike. The outstanding accuracy ensures that you can never out shoot your rifle and inturn if your marksmanship is up to it you'll be hitting 2p pieces at 35yrds in no time. The rifles solid good looks are mirrored in the solid workmanship of the entire rifle, the action is smooth, the trigger is crisp and the stock is remarkably good looking for a rifle retailing at £250. The fool proof safety takes a while to become fluen ...
