  This game offers great RTS style gameplay. MTW is one of the best games I have ever played. The land battles are highly detailed and can incorporate a mass of bloodshed if you are able to build up your provinces to produces amazing weapons. Strategy is the key to this game. You must ally with powerful factions to ensure safety from invasion there are additional features that will keep you glued to the screen.

  Medieval Total War's graphics are so so but the way the game draws you in makes up for it. Get this during the summer months beat it and sell it to sombody.

  Don't buy medieval total war if you have a social life, paperwork to do, house burning down etc because you will ignore them all! It takes a while to get the hang of the interface and general game play but once you do it's really hard to stop playing it.
  
  Basically it's a highly detailed version of the board game risk but you get to fight the battles in real time.
