Good Points: Sound is great, nice and sleek looking, not too confusing front. separate CD drawers.
Bad Points: Timer for alarm somewhat difficult, (doesn\'t reset itself for timer function to work after going into stand-by.
General comments: The Sharp XL-HP500 system was a replacement for a SONY that was sorely lacking in quality sound from the CD player. (It had a prohibitive hiss at lower volumes). The SHARP system cost $20 less with much better sound in the exact same configuration as the SONY. The only fault I could find with this is the daily alarm setting procedure to set after the unit goes into standby mode. (But with the rich sound I can live with the extra button pushing).
