General comments: Even so the products are cheap you have the worst delivery service organisation ever. We're paying £20 for a service that is utterly rubbish, they don't even ask you what slot would be convenient for you (yeah we all have different lives!) they tell you your slot just 12h b4 delivery but you have to give them 48h to change the slot... ?? last night driver did not turn up at all. Today, he's not available ! Tonight, birthday party with 60 people, and I don't have a present... how stupid do I look ?? I would never ever ever use again. Will write that review on as many sites as possible. would never forgive for ruining party planned 6mths ago.

Bad description on web site - electrical goods come with EU plugs, not UK, have since found this in the tiny print (as well as that instructions may be in French). Call Centre is in Romania and refused to help - told me to e-mail for a number in France if I wanted to speak to someone at Pixmania.
Parent Co. DSGi in Herts called and they want nothing to do with Pixmania complaints!!

I bought a camera lens kit, only for Pixmania www.pixmania.com to decide a few days later that they made an advertising mistake and I could only have the camera without the lens for the money or I could send it back. I sent it back, costing £40 to France on a recorded, insured service (they requested that). They refunded me the cost of the camera alone, no postage. Bought washing machine, arrived badly damaged. Pixamania supplied phone number for curry's who supplied number for hotpoint/ indeset.after several phone calls and no collection date. Advised by consumer rights to send letter. Which I received a reply with yet another number. To sum up washing machine still not collected 24 days later and no refund. All companies concerned total waste of time and money.

I bought an MSI DDR3 motherboard in July 2008 and it stopped working in August. Finally got through to Pixmania so sent it back at own expense and now told it may be repaired by 18th NOVEMBER 2008! That is a maybe! So that's months without a PC unless I take the loss and buy another board but its £150 down the drain. Can't recommend Pixmania highly enough, bought a last minute birthday present with fingers crossed it would arrive in time - order was processed within 24 hours, and item arrived less than 2 days later - fantastic all round service!

I finaly sent it back on 10 Sept and they now tell me it maybe repaired by 18th NOVEMBER 2008. Thats too long by any standards. They say sorry but I think they are making a fool out of UK buyer simply because of the Channel. This is taking so long I have nearly given up, taken the loss and bought another motherboard but I would sincerely advice anyone not to buy from PI ...

A very good service - I took a chance on the possibility of a dead on arrival and the hassle this would create in reshipping the unit back to them. As luck would have it, the worst *did* happen but I have no complaints at all with how Pixmania handled it. The description on the website of how the returns process will work when the reason for return is faulty equipment could usefully be made both easier to find and less discouraging about how long it might take before you get your replacement kit ...

I've ordered a camera - the delivery date was changed 5 times, I was waiting for almost a month and at the end they said that they don't have this item and they stopped selling it... on their web site it was still available to buy - TOTAL DISASTER !!!!

I ordered a hard-drive off pixmania, decided i didn't like it (nothing was physically wrong with it) and sent it back to pixmania. They refunded me the full amount to my bank account on the day they received the hard-drive back with no problems at all. Very impressive.
The only real problem i perceive with pixmania having purchased from them several times now is their payment/verification process - too long & far too convoluted. Other than that ive found them to be incredibly professional.

There were no good points, maybe one that lasted temporarily which consisted of me thinking I'd got a bargain. This bubble was then burst by the fact that they all of a sudden refunded me. Pixmania appear to be wholesalers only so if you order a product with them you're actually buying from someone else! They would not swap an item or alter a deal for me e.g. I ordered a TV (unbeknown to me this is via a third party), the order is out of stock, I chased them to find this out. They still show on their web site the TV is in stock, this is another deal with a different third party so I could not swap and alter the deal even though I had paid them/Pixmania. How crazy is that? Essentially, make sure not to complicate orders with their "supposed" deals - it'll only mess up matters. I made certain to prepare and have the time (from work) to receive delivery of a top-of-the-line LCD TV. Decided to go for the cheap offer / package deal of thrown in dvd player. I ordered my laptop RAM from Pixmania on 20th Aug 2008 and my order never arrived even after paying premium delivery. They have very poor delivery service and customer service. Customer service has been horrendous in answering any questions. Just frustrating, frustrating!! This is 2nd experience with this store. First time I thought it as one off case but they seem to be very irresponsible.

I feel that a good website and low prices come at a big cost. Their availability did not seem accurate and when my order did not run smoothly - I found it difficult to contact them, they took a long time to get back to me and I had to spend hours to get my money back. I didn't even receive my order and it still took 5 weeks to refund me!

My first dealing with Pixmania was for a PC monitor, which was received intact and working. My second order for a surround sound system and separate speaker stands was a disaster.
Firstly, the postage costs came to 65 Euro including VAT. The surround system was listed as due in stock in 8-10 days. The stands were listed as in stock and then as despatched, but I never received them.

I think the thing you have to remember here is that most people who search for these sites do so because the have had a bad experience with a company and feel like venting, not many have a good or decent service and think to themselves "Let's google it and see if anyone else thought it was good". I will say though that it took them roughly 4 days to get the products out of their warehouse and dispatched and parcelforce delivered the next day (which, coming from France is an achievement).
