Ivan1890's Response to Reggie Eggman's Review

Thanks for this information. I am just getting into diving and the biggest problem for me is (a) Finding a diving centre with a wide range of stock and (b) Getting reliable advice. (I virtually had to go it alone on solving the prescription lenses in a mask issue, even after going onto the Divernet chatline). If anyone else writes about fins (which I hope for) I would be interested in also knowing (i) Their size (i.e. the fins) and whether they are suitable for both scuba and snorkeling, (ii) Whether or not you need to be powerful to get the best out of them, (iii) Whether they are strap fitted fins or full foot, (iv) Available sizes and colours, (v) Price, (vi) Which retailer stocks them, (v) Material and particularly if they a composite fin, (vi) Special design features eg. ribs or split, (vii) What other fins from your own experience you believe they outperform, (viii) Effect on buoyancy, (ix) Vertical stability. Many novices like me know virtually nothing but we are eager to learn from those of you with experience. Please spell everything out. We really appreciate it. Thanks.
