This is a superb piece of hardware from Creative.

I got this card months ago and haven't looked back, nor am i looking foreward for the moment. Crisp clean sound is produced.

Even variable digital Treble and Base are included which is excellent if you have a subwoofer and want extra kick.

Thanks for your excitement about this product, BUT if you're so knowing about music and it's reproduction ...you made a "huge" faupaux.
The lower sound spectrum of music is known as "BASS"...NOT..."base".
Now, I'm questioning your knowledge , and the review you gave.
I hope this helps you communicate better in the future.

OK LuckyGuy13, I know we're not conducting French grammar lessons here but if you're going to be pedantic at least do it competently: the correct phrase is "faux pas" and you have made one.

What a comment by LuckyGuy13. on 18th Nov 2002. Grammer is wrong, but was the product good, bad, etc... get to the point, the man was trying to make a product statement, not take a English or French lesson. FatJack2004.

some funny comments made on this page! grammer lesson! nothing quite like someone trying to prove someone else`s spelling while making one at the same time! Ive got a solundblaster live 5.1 and i think its an excellent soundcard, more to the point, ive had this thing 7 yrs roughly, not heard of anything thats better ever since! a good buy indeed!
