Fuel consumption driving normally should give you about 20 m.p.g drive it in sports mode with conviction and you will only see 12-15 m.p.g still not too bad. handles well not too many people want to try and cut you up (unlike the Z3 I used to have). Looked at Merc. ML, Lexus etc. and this was by far best of bunch taking everything in consideration and its BMW rock solid… Read Full Review

It is cheaper than the Land Rover top of the range and better especially in the back. Buy a BMW X5, but avoid the v8 due to the fact they lose money quick. Go for a v6 instead… Read Full Review

I have owned my X5 for one year already. I bought it for my wife because the reviews said was the most safe SUV, after ten months she drove more than ten thousand miles and the X5 showed me how good a car can be. When you drive an X5 you feel in total control, not only the responce (that is superb) is the whole system brakes, suspension, extra insulated cabin make the X5 a total different driving experiance… Read Full Review

This is an offroader's review... take the X5 off road and you will find it's limitations. It is a great urban vehicle, NOT and off road vehicle.

Dont forget the Range Rover is a BMW and would have been the X7 if Ford had not bought Land Rover

for 60g, there is one 4x4 that will go off road as well as it does on road, and in the same if not greater comfort. two words.

This coment is for Katrider,I respet your opinion about the x5 and the limited capabilities this car have but for sure I dont want expend 60g for go into the bushes or jump over the rocks......there are to many suv's with those skills for a lot......a lot.... less price.
