    Good Points: I agree with stevelondon on the good points and features... but see bad point.


    Bad Points: Sony Service
    My MDS JB930 has started to report "read error" on insertion of disc
    But Sony Centre says cost of examination and repair would exceed cost of a new one. Very bad marks for Sony


    General comments: Service is an important element from any manufacturing company. I have previously had this same after-sales cop-out from Sony and shall look around for another manufacturer. I do not like to be held to ransom by "built-in obsolescence".

    The Sony MDS-JB930 is a great all round Mini Disk recorder that I would recommend to all. It is also very reliable.

    Nice gear. The filter section has too little efect, but sounds OK. My B&W CDM-7 do not really reveal all the power of this section. Cool option is the PS/2 connector for PC keyboard usage.
