No wait pick up from Murcia airport....car in good condition. While in Spain we were involved in an accident on the road, that was not our fault. We were immediately offered a new car, after being asked if we were ok. Fortunately we were and the car was still drivable. There were no problems on returning the car and no charge. I will use this company every time! Very happy with the speed and quality of service. :-)

I booked my car hire late for collection at Malaga airport and wanted an automatic 5 seat car. Auriga Crown had been recommended to me. They had the availability and the rate was very competitive. I booked it direct over the internet and received confirmation of the booking without delay. There was no requirement to pre-pay or provide credit card deails. I arrived in Malaga airport and Auriga Crown's counter is at the airport on the floor below the luggage collection hall. Some car hire counters were empty and some were busy. Auriga Crown's counter had the largest queue at the time. I beieve that it is just pot luck which of the popular car hire companies will be the busiest at any time. Clearly Auriga Crown is popular (which is no doubt why they can offer such competitive rates) and August is peak season. The two people on their counter serving customers were courteous, helpful and efficient but we did have to wait 1.5 hours. However, the cars are parked nearby and we were in the car within about 5 minutes of dealing with the paperwork. The car was quite new and in very good condition. The car hire charge already included zero excess insurance but for extra peace of mind we decided to take the optional additional insurance covering tyres, windscreens and keys (which at €5 per day was much better value than the rates I saw other companies were charging). Overall, I was very pleased with the car, the service and the rates of Auriga Crown but at peak times there may be long queues.

Correct service, but too busy at desk: had to wait for a long time at their desk because they were/are the cheapest. A bit of trouble with my credit card was handled stressy but correct. Some more personnel could have made things a lot easier. The dark lady at the desk spoke the best Spanglish I met during my trip, and that's a compliment.

They are extremely helpful and cannot do enough for you, they full excess is fine and we have had no problems at all with them
I would highly recommed them to anyone

The service at Malaga airport was helpful, friendly and efficient. We were given a better car than booked, a Seat Leon and encountered no problems. Would definitely use Auriga Crown again. Only thing I could fault is the policy of making you pay for a full tank of fuel. We didn't travel enough miles to use even 1/2 tank.

Picked up the Ford Focus Estate as booked from Girona Airport, yes there was damage to the vehicle (Arent all Hire Cars in Spain the same?) but this was highlighted prior to pick up. I pre-paid the fuel and returned on fumes (I doubt they were able to get it to the petrol station!!) but thats the agreement!! I also took out the optional all inclusive insurance for only 36 Euros, which is better than leaving a 300 Euro Deposit and most importantly piece of mind...Come on people...have you seen how the Spanish drive!!
All puns aside, I was pleased with what we got..it basically did "Exactly What It Says On The Tin" If you what something more exclusive go pay the premium

Arrived at midnight and pleasantly surprised that there was no queue at Auriga desk and all the paperwork was sorted out in approx 10 minutes. Was informed that the car, a Kia Caens instead of Opal Zafira, had some slight damage on one side and we where given directions to the car park. When we got to the car we noticed that both sides had a few dents and scratches, however a quick telephone call to the desk and the additional damage was "noted onto the computer". The car itself ran well and with a 2 litre diesel engine was sufficient for our party of 4 adults and 2 children plus luggage.
Only real complaint is that Auriga Crown charged 65 euros for the full tank but when I filled up during our stay from empty the cost was only 46 euros.

Having booked the car through 'Do you Spain' and THEN read reviews, I was a little apprehensive about the hire from Auruga Crown, however, when we got to Reus airport (a day later because of delays)the customer service was excellent, friendly-he swapped a child seat I wasn't happy with with another hire company as he had none left. The child seats are on the tired side-they don't go for child safety as much in Spain as we do... We paid for full tank of fuel but was refunded when we returned the car back full.We also paid an extra 36E for super insurance to cover glass, tyres and clutch, but I thought a small price to pay!
I woud use them again.

Have used Auriga Crown on a few occasions and have always had a good experience. On this occasion I booked direct with them and got a quote equally as competitive as through the likes of AutoEurope and was given an upgrade on arrival. Although the external condition of the car wasn't great they were happy for me to mark the vehicle condition sheet with all relevant details.
Additionally they offered a 'return full' option on the fuel, which meant I didn't have to buy a full tank from them on pick-up.
The 300 euro deposit was back on my credit card within 3 days of returning the vehicle.

Booked Auriga Crown through Thompsons website, who we had booked flights with, about three months before travelling. They were the cheapest I could find on-line. Picked car up from Malaga airport, no problems except not impressed with 300euro deposit to avoid paying 3euro per day "Super Insurance" to cover Clutch, bumpers and wheels. (would pay next time for peace of mind though) Also as mentioned by other reviewers the full tank/ return empty policy is a bit of a rip off but I found the same last year with another hire company, so they're not the only ones. However, a week later having used it most days without any problems, the tank was still showing full?? When I returned the car to Malaga airport, I not only got my 300euro deposit back, without any fuss, but I also got my 45euro back for the fuel. Maybe the fuel gauge was faulty and they though I had filled up before returning? Who knows? but I am not complaining.

I didn't have any problems with AurigaCrown whatsoever although I booked late(via Economy). Collection was fast and painless as was the return, however our trip was thankfully without incident so I cannot comment on the company's response in such a situation.

Booked through an agency in England, but dealt with aurigacrown in Granada, Spain. Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. Staff friendly and helpful enough. Car was fine. Car got hit will parked. No problem (yes, we had the coverage but I was still surprised.)

AurigaCrown Car Hire exceeded all expectations, The vehicle was great, and superb value for our two day break. Friendly Efficient Staff
-Upgraded to New (excellent) Seat Ibiza for no extra charge
-Deposit refunded on return of refuelled car.
-No additional driver/young driver charge. Only bad point is 3 days would require charge for full tank of fuel

Had to wait 25 minutes in Ibiza airport, early in the morning (and on an empty stomach).
Found a pair of men's underwear in the trunk (hopefully they were clean?). Friendly and helpful customer service in Ibiza airport. We were given a free upgrade. Price was very economic, booked directly through Auriga's website. Would definitely use them again.

I found the representative at the airport quiet bad mannered and very unhelpful. I also feel the need to explain for insuring a clutch!!

The cars were in much better condition than the ones that we usually hire from Goldcar ( last time from them the car had a massive bash in one of the side panels)

I have used Augira Crown on a few occasions and have been satisfied. My last booking was at Malaga Airport and when I picked the car up I was told by the counter staff that I could return the car either empty or full. I returned the car full, but was refused a refund on the grounds that I could have returned the car empty. I protested, but no luck. I contacted Economy Car Hire (The Booking Agent) on my return and asked them if they could help me resolve the situation. This was done within 48 hours and I received a full refund from Augira Crown.

Cars always in good condition, I hire every 12 weeks. Staff friendly - minimum of two in office at pick-up. Never had a breakdown. Mini bus pick-up quite regular from Airport to showroom. A Pro-rata discount relative to usage would stop me looking at other sites........Charge of 20 euros on top of full comp' ins' as windscreen and door glass are NOT covered. This only made apparent at point of hire - disappointing............

We knew about paying for the full tank of petrol in advance but since we had booked the car for ten days it was not a problem.
We knew they needed a credit card impression but were unaware of their policy that we could not pay cash.
We booked through their Website and when no reply was received after several days, we called them. The person answereng the telephone could not find our Email but made a booking on the spot and Emailed us the confirmation. We Emailed a reply concerning a minor error but had to call again when no response was forthcoming. Received confirmation of correction a few minutes after putting down the phone.
This company had the longest queues at Palma airport so they must be popular. Would suggest they take on more staff.
