I hired a car from Aurigo Crown in Malaga for 4 days. I was told the car has 4 wheels and that was enough for me to drive in a joking manner!!!!
when I saw the car he was right. It had so many scratches and accidnent all over the car it was so dusty must have been one of their oldest car. At night time I realized that only had head lights and this was dangerous for other drivers. When I spoke to someone called Maria, she was rude and did not want to listen to me and insisted that I wll not be charged for the damage and scratches and in the end put the phone down on me.
I had the third party insurance and refused to pay extra 3 euro per day for fully comprehensive insurance so they charged me 300 Euro incase something did happen to the car like broken window glass, clutch broken,or wheels damaged. I took the car back and realised that before anything happened to the car they had already cashed their 300 Euro before anything happened to the car.
I will deffenitly not recomend this company to anyone.
Do not let these people abuse your money and use you because you are gooing on holiday and you are in good mood so let them pay extra.

I was somewhat concerned about using AurigaCrown having read so many poor reviews during the summer. However, their prices when booking via economycarhire.com were excellent so I decided to take a chance.
I called economycarhire before I booked and was assured that as all their rentals were pre-paid I wouldn't have any problems.
Everything was fine. It took around 10 mins to complete the paperwork. Additional insurance was offered but not pushed as I already had tyre/windscreen e.t.c. cover from ...

This review is a follow on from one I made a week ago on my return from Spain which can be read further down the page. I got charged 13 Euros for the repair of the tire but ended up kicking up a big stink because of the way I felt I was treated. Synopsis in the end is as follows. If possible stick with one of the big companies like Avis Hertz Budget etc. If this is not possible use Auriga Crown but pay the super insurance. I really thought I was going to lose the 300 euros. As somebody else stat ...

I am really surprised that so few people have have bothered to report the complete fiasco that awaited anyone who had booked a hire car that used Auriga Crown. Arrived on Saturday 12th September before 6pm and didn't get in my car until after 9pm.
The queue didn't look good but the speed of service and number of people dealing with them made for a horrendous wait. There was really only one person dealing although three employees were about at various times. It took them 50 minutes to deal with j ...

Booked Auriga Crown through Thompsons website, who we had booked flights with, about three months before travelling. They were the cheapest I could find on-line. Picked car up from Malaga airport, no problems except not impressed with 300euro deposit to avoid paying 3euro per day "Super Insurance" to cover Clutch, bumpers and wheels. (would pay next time for peace of mind though) Also as mentioned by other reviewers the full tank/ return empty policy is a bit of a rip off but I found the same la ...

The car was ok and very clean interior. I am having an argument with this company at the minute though as they intend to charge me for a nail that I (apparently)got in the tire. They offer various insurances when you pick up and I chose not to accept the one that covers wheels windows and clutch. My argument is that I dont knock wheels, I have never had my windows smashed , nor do i ride the clutch. I do not feel the tire is part of the wheel but a separate entity. They however insist it is. I w ...

AurigaCrown Car Hire - Booked through broker Economy Car Hire. When arrived at desk about 6 hirers in front of us and 4 staff serving so expected a short wait. Half an hour later........... Finally got served. Girl quite abrupt and looked extremely annoyed when I declined the extra insurance. Car was a clapped out Seat Leon with 54000 kms on the clock. Was advised of three damage areas on the car. Found car with dents and deep scatches down one side. Gearbox cream crackered. A really poor advert ...

I appear to be one of the lucky ones. My car was actually available when I got there (booked 6 months before but when I found it was 68,000 Kms old, dirty and lacked 3 hub caps I checked it over thoroughly. The 1 mark on the official form we signed at the desk turned into 18 issues, including roof dents and every panel with a significant mark. When we updated the form and took it back to the office the official shrugged and ringed the whole car and signed it. I drove it away to find the next ...

Booked AurigaCrown Car Hire through Economy car hire for collection from Palma in Majorca. Initially had to queue for about 45 minutes after collecting luggage, as expected they tried to sell an additional insurance for glass, tyres, under carriage and clutch but weren't too pushy, since we'd already bought this from Economy, we had to pay a 300 Euro deposit. We had booked something like a Purgeot 307 but were "upgraded" to a Ford Mondeo (?!), which was bigger than we wanted but accepted it anyw ...

Booked car through CarJet and was given Auriga Crown as my car hire supplier. Auriga advertised their office in Alicante as open 24hrs, this is also displayed on a sign on the door of their hire office in the Airport. When I arrived 4 hrs later than scheduled at 2.30am I found their office closed although some of the other companies were still open. I had to wait until 7.30am for the office to open, where I was rudely told that any problems I have are with Carjet and not them. I was then given ...

I didn't have any problems with AurigaCrown whatsoever although I booked late(via Economy). Collection was fast and painless as was the return, however our trip was thankfully without incident so I cannot comment on the company's response in such a situation.

Dont use AurigaCrown Car Hire - Like many others, we arrived at Palma airport to be told by A emails urigaCrown that they did not have our booking. We had paid for a car in January via Carjet (dont use them either).

Some o9 weeks and 16 emails later, Carjet have now refunded the difference we had to pay, some additional 800 euros to hire the only car available in Palma...

Booked a AurigaCrown Car Hire car in March. Arrived at alicante mid-july to find that the car had been cancelled. No explanation was given leaving me and my family (2 toddlers) completely stranded.

Instead of paying 306 euros through Auriga Crown it cost 1060 euros through other companies as there do not seem to be any hire cars in Spain. Poor Poor performance!! I wish i had read these reviews before leaving on my hols.

Like a previous poster's experience, the car hire I had booked with Auriga Crown as far back as November last year for our holiday last month was suddenly cancelled by them just 4 days prior to departure. The credit crunch was the reason given in the email. At such short notice and with the availability of smaller cars almost non-existent, I couldn't find another car that wouldn't have cost me hundreds of pounds more than the original booking. I ended up having to arrange a private taxi transfer ...

Auriga Crown are DREADFUL! The windscreen wipers did not work on the first car so we had to return to the booking office. We explained the problem to the representative in Spanish and she asked sarcastically "Are you a mechanic or something?" She then asked for more money for an "upgraded" car which we paid. The "upgraded" car had a large dent in the side which was not noted on the booking form so we had to go back to the office yet again. She was even more surly this time and said there were ...

Having booked my car hire vehicle in January 09 I was obviously fuming after arriving at Alicante airport on the 21st of June and being told that it had been cancelled, no explanation or reason was given and the girl behind the desk just shrugged her shoulders and could not care less.
So I was left stranded at 2230pm without a car.
I would rcommend that you never use AurigaCrown car hire as they cannot be trusted and do not care about their customers.
