Good Points: pretty.
Bad Points: so disappointed with Maytag.
General comments: our maytag atlantis MAV950 broke down after two weeks as wouldn't drain. Two months later same thing. now, the timer is shot. loved our first maytag bought used for 75 dollars. wish we would have kept it as this new one is junk. it won't spin, and gets off balance frequently resulting in running in to open the lid. going to try a kenmore and have them haul away the maytag at delivery.

My Maytag Atlantis washing machine breaks down every 4 months and costs $300 to $500 to repair. Conclusion, if you hate money or someone, i advise you to get a MAYTAG ATLANTIS. I now hate this brand with a passion and spend my time spreading the word about Maytag.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

A very expensive washing machine which we thought would last us a lifetime. We are now looking to replace it after a couple of years. Worthless on the second hand market because it makes noises during the spin cycle. We will leave it out for garbage collection.- Read Guest's review (109 words)

I have owned 3 Maytags and bought the Atalntis MAV950 purely because I had been so happy with my other maytag but this is the worst machine I have ever owned. The clothes are ruined, everything is covered in lint despite thorough, regular cleaning of the machine. In fact, even after a 3 wash clean with finish, vinegar then just hot water, the next load still comes out covered in lint. It wastes too much water and doesn't rinse properly. Very sad as the construction of Maytags is very good. They ...- Read angelajansz's review (184 words)

Our Maytag Atlantis MAV950 washing machine is 8 months old and is in need of a new transmission. At 7 months, it needed a new drive belt. These repairs are under warranty, but for $700, I expected at least a few more years out of it. We bought it at Lowe's and they have a 7 day guarantee and will not take it back.- Read johncintula's review (71 words)
