Good Points: None, this movie was long and boring.
Bad Points: Uh was 4 hrs long, was extremely boring, was not fun to watch, had bad acting, bad script, bad extra's, 20 min intermission in the middle of it, poor editing was not a movie that should have been in the theaters!
General comments: Staring Jeff Daniels, Stephen Lang and Robert Duval. This movie is about the first steps of the civil war in 1863 in the Southern United States. Filmed in the actual states that this conflict happened in.
This movie while the trailer looked good and awesome it compiled the best scenes in this movie. When you go see this movie you are expecting to see a film like "The Patriot" which starred Mel Gibson. Wrong! Don't expect that at all in fact erase that movie from your head before seeing this movie. It will help!
Gods and Generals is the WORST movie that I have ever seen. It was long around 4 hrs, had a 20 min intermission in the middle where you sit in the dark twiddling your thumbs. And frankly it has bad acting and bad script. See the bad points.

Overall I give this movie 2 Stars out of Ten. I would NOT recommend this movie unless you have a book report or some school assignment. This was the biggest waste of time I have ever seen. Would be good as a mini series but not as a Theatre film.
