    Had TV since April 03 had know trouble with it at all, picture very clear, colour great, sound great all in all very please with my Philips TV

    Philips 32" Widescreen Flat Tube 32PW8717 100 Hz - £1200.

    Bad points as above, would never have another in a lucky bag. What's all the fuss about 100 Hz, the old TV I had before had a better picture, which is presently being brought down from the spare room !!!!

    How much do you have to spend to get good quality picture & sound ???

    Out of focus picture, jumping about the screen. Sound crackling after TV was on for over an hour. Eventually managed to get an engineer out who immediately condemned the TV and said he wouldn't advise anyone to buy a Philips 8000 or 9000 series, poor picture quality as is pixel plus. Best quality is Sony.

    TV is now on the way back to the shop it was bought from and will never look at another Philips TV!
