Good Points: The jousting show was really good, they just need to work on the speaker system as we could not hear!! The other good point was going home!!
Bad Points: Catering, the food outlet in the food court, we ordered a 6 piece chicken bucket, on the first bite appeared nice and hot on the second the chicken was still frozen in the middle! This was totally stomach churning, young staff in charge of cooking, appeared inexperienced.
General comments: To serve chicken still frozen in the center is unacceptable, food safety is paramount in a place where there is a quick turnover in service, for a business like this and my dealings with them since has really opened my eyes, no one answered my written complaint and it took me three weeks later to speak to someone in charge and her answer left me in shock I found her customer relation skills are much left to be desired!

Very enjoyable day for whole family. My 4 year old enjoyed the rides and the jousting tournament. We had a three day pass via the park hall hotel and enjoyed every visit. Will definitely return in the near future.

Not worth travelling for in my opinion.
Only managed one ride on Knightmare before it broke down and Whirlwind was the same.
Overpriced food and staff that could care less.

Good points, Camelot is 15 mins in the car, had 3 free adult tickets, few good rides. Bad points, very small park, long wait to enter rides, cost £20 for child entry, arrived at 1.00 pm and closed at 4.30 pm. Would recommend to 12-17 year old people, some good rides but not worth £20

Bit of a disastrous day. As Camelot quite near had promised the children a day there in half term (usually head for Alton towers in this country) but had intended to use Tesco vouchers. Vouchers didn't arrive!!!!!!!! Ended up buying discount tickets on-line (thankfully - or not) and headed off for Chorley. Was late arriving (due to waiting for Tesco vouchers) and delayed even further by the slow moving queues to pick up our entrance tickets, even though we'd already paid for them! Not quite ...

An excellent day out for all the family. Very good VFM. Staff helpful and welcoming and a good selection of rides for our girls (3& 4) and lots of older children too. Clean and not overpriced on-site like many other theme parks I have previously visited. All in all we will be back very soon. On-site food more reasonable than other theme parks I have visited. Staff pleasant and got a warm welcome on arrival. Direction signage could be better. Could dry the seats after rain the night before.

It is really good for family day out. There are rides and entertainment for all ages the uniform looked presentable and the staff were very friendly. Camelot was really good it is a real family day out, the staff were exceedingly friendly and I felt very welcome. They don't offer much for non-english speakers or different cultures. Although Camelot have ramps for prams and wheel chair users they are quite steep

After hearing about the new ride at Camelot my friends and I decided to go this weekend and see what it was like.
For those few who do not know what Camelot is I will give you a very brief overview:
Camelot is a great theme park located near Chorley in Lancashire (North West England). It is a themed amusement park (a land of magic and great knights). They have rides for everyone from toddler to parents as well as indoor activities and a working farm. It is close to the M61 (leave at Jun ...

After paying £60 to enter I was very disappointed to learn that some activities were then extra. I had 2 children with myself and my husband. One aged 8 and the other aged 5. Found it very difficult to find rides that they could both do together without us going on with them.
They were either too tall or too small! Even though we have visited many theme parks/fair grounds and both children have been on very similar rides without any trouble before.
My youngest found this very upsetting ...

It was a really unique day and perfect for a good family day out.
There are rides and attractions for both adults and kids, there are things to keep you entertained all day.
The new Knightmare ride was brilliant and lasts for ages. There are massive drops and as mentioned previously, the G-force is massive.
All in all, it is a fantastic place to go to that I would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love Camelot! I've been every year since I was 2 and now I'm 16 and still love it. I have heard rumours that it's closing and love this place so much I cried! It's wonderful to see the power of those beautiful horses and how much they relate to their riders. I truly hope Camelot doesn't close down as it is the best theme park I have ever been to.

A nice day out for the whole family but the rides are mostly for junior thrill seekers. Not to say that adults alike can't enjoy them as well.

I recently organised a group visit to Camelot theme park for our girls dance troupe. They ranged in ages from 2 - 57 years, and without exception they all had a wonderful day. What made things even better was that most of them slept all the way home!
I think it would be criminal to close such a great place for family day out.

What a shame Camelot is closing!!! We have been several times, and this time with my daughter (11) and her friend, and also my son (4). We had a fantastic day, and I even felt safe enough to let my daughter and friend go off on their own for the day whilst I took my son on the rides. They had a superb time, and my son was able to see the jousting and the magic show, which were absolutely superb! We had a lovely time, and we even got discount tickets for Chester Zoo, Camelot and Sealife centres u ...

Overall, Camelot is very nice. My cousin enjoyed it, and I certainly did. There were rides for every age group, and it was a very good value for money. My gran came with us to go on the rides, and it is good that they do senior citizen discounts, and my gran went on loads of rides for half the price we paid.

Camelot is a great place to visit if you have kids. OK, the queues can be a bit daunting, but once you get on the rides (yes, adults too!) they are enjoyable and are not over straight away.
What a pity they are talking about closing the theme park to make way for housing development or a retail park. In my opinion Camelot is a much better place to visit than Blackpool or Southport (enjoyment wise), and definitely much better than Alton Towers (what a waste of money that was) - paid an extorti ...

If you are a student who would never dream of skiving, forget about visiting this place. However, if you visit off-peak, you will be rewarded(?) with a definitely flawed but nevertheless unique experience. This place is one of a kind.
