We decide to go to gulivers world Warrington to take my two year old to see Santa. We was going to pay £25 each for tickets but the wife's friend had to cancel so we bought them for £30 for 3. The park looks very run down on entry and there were various models and stuffed reindeer etc behind glass with a button to press to make them move. None of them worked in the entire park. We had booked breakfast with Santa which was basically a rationed fryer breakfast of pretty poor quality with a... (read more)

The only negatives were, it was slightly smaller than i expected and a couple of the water wheels were out of order, but the kids didnt seem to mind at all and had great fun. all in all we found it to be great value for money... Gulliver's World is aimed at younger children. I have 4 children aged from 5 down to 10 months and we visited in August 2012. My husband and Aunt came with me so that the baby was entertained whilst we took the 5, 4 and 3 year old on the rides. They had a great day. We always take a picnic as the food is expensive and service quite slow, but I have also experienced this at Alton Towers and Blackpool. I took my son (3) to gullivers world- splash zone with my two friends and there little boys (both 3 too) on weds just gone, we were all so excited and looking forward to a couple of hours of fun, as we stepped into splash zone, my first thoughts were, how unsafe the place looked for are little ones, there were kids all ages running around mad and excited (as kids do) but some the kids were very big, compared to are little ones, it was over crouded and all the metal bars and climbing frames... With the cost of day to day living and being a family that just gets by each month then i appreciate having gulliver nearby and being reasonably priced for entrance!! Went to Splash Zone in Warrington with kids aged 2 - 6 years. Very excited on arrival but kids couldn't find much to do once in. Didn't like the slides because they landed on the hard floor and hurt themselves. 3 yr old was turned back at top of queue for slides - there was no sign to say who couldn't go on. Older ones loved slides but rest of time just sat and splashed in little splash pool. Nothing for 2 year old to do for more than 15 mins. My 3 year old was shivering after 40 mins and I... in defence of Gulliver's World Warrington. My 4 children practically grew up there as we live 15 minutes down the road. I now take my Goddaughter aged 3 and the nostalgic teenagers love it too. Its always been a bit understaffed, most of the rides are orginal and more have been added over the years (unlike Camolott which is so run down that every other ride site is now a coconut shy) Yes its weatherbeaten and tatty in places, but my kids and thousands of others have had some many happy... Ihave since been back and had no problems, but there again my 2 year old is now three and grown a bit more maybe it would be advisable to go on the childrens ages and not their height size.

Me, my partner and 6 year old decided at short notice to have a day out at Gullivers World (Warrington) for the first time. We had not read any reviews and have the following comments: 1. Booked to go to Gullivers Splash Zone in Warrington with 4 children aged 15, 14, 7 and 3. Was supposed to be attest as 2 of the children were visiting! What a complete waste of time and money. The older children were bored in 5 minutes. the youngest hurt herself on her first slide as did the 7 year old. I wouldn't disagree with a lot of comments on this site about Gullivers World as some of the attractions are quite embarrassing (Alladins Circus, Lost World Safari, Tomb Raider ride etc). The place could do with a full refurbishment and a clearout of some of the severely outdated rides.

This theme park was absolutely dreadful. It's probably the worst one I've ever been to in my entire life. Our local town fair has better rides for children, which are better maintained. The worst of the rides had to be Aladdin's Circus, which was so bad it was embarrassing. All the rides were desparately in need of a lick of paint and a good old dust. I can't believe that somewhere so poor is still in business.

This is possibly the worst theme park in the world. It's like the Family Fun Day off Phoenix Nights. The place was full of tramps, and it basically felt like we were on the set of the Jeremy Kyle Show. The rides looked like someone had made them from spare bits of wood lying around and the dressed up characters were shabby and uninterested. Gulivers World - Warrington

I have taken my 4 year old daughter there for the past 2 years (at least 6 visits in total). For what it is - a theme park for younger children, it is ideal. There are various areas in the park each with a particualr theme. Rides are basic but ideal for younger children (under 12 years old).
If only i had read your reveiw before going, because you like you said 'save your money', i would have.
The park was in a very run down state with unmotivated staff to match,
The rides were very dissapointing and very poorly managed, the choice and variety was limited and the quality were at a level to match a traveling fair. We paid £37.00 for My wife, myself and my 2 year old son who we had to pay for as he was just 90cm tall which meant we had to pay, i wouldnt have minded paying the money if he would have been entertained in this depressing so called adventure park, which we only managed to stay at for two and a half hours and not the family day out as advertised. And as for the toilet facilities you didnt need to look for any signs to find them the smell lead you right there.

I think that it is disgraceful that children over a certain age still have to go in with an adult at Gullivers World Warringston Spash Zone. I have come from Manchester and had to go all the way home because Gullivers World staff would not let me in. I am 12 years old.
