“Gullivers World Warrington”

Written on: 05/05/2014

I visited Gullivers World Warrington today with our 2 daughters, one who is 19 months (below 90cm) and one who has just turned 4 (100cm). Our friend also came with her two of a similar age/ height. Luckily my husband decided to tag long at the last minute and was able to look after the two girls below 90cm as we found only 4 rides they could go on. If he hadn't been there then we would not have been able to take our 4 year olds on anything as there wasn't much for them to go on alone and it… Read Full Review

“Disgusting!”

Written on: 14/04/2014 by SL-Embroidery (1 review written)

Gulliver's World Warrington - Attendant was rude to us, then hurt me by slamming the bar on the ride down twice in the groin before I had to get off without going on the ride, only to find he had smash my mobile phone. The company took a week to respond and have now said they will not pay for the repairs, small minded since our annual passes where due to be renewed for the whole family. I am passing this to our solicitors and will not be going again… Read Full Review

“Good day out”

Written on: 29/08/2013

My 6 year old enjoyed the day. Plenty to do. One negative. The face painting section needs more people working there. Daughter waited half an hour to get her face painted even though she only had 3 kids in front of her. Just one girl doing the face painting at such a big place isnt great!… Read Full Review

“good day out”

Written on: 28/07/2013 by rainbowkitten1 (1 review written)

We went to gullivers world, warrington, yesterday for the first time to see the moshi monsters. The staff were nice and very helpful. We went on the joker it was bouncy and very high. Next we went on the mad hatter's tea party ride it was so fast i almost felt sick. My favourite rides were the pirate ship, the runaway train and the flight of the pteranodon. I can't wait to go back with my mum. Hope this review helps… Read Full Review

“Don't bother!”

Written on: 20/02/2013

We decide to go to gulivers world Warrington to take my two year old to see Santa. We was going to pay £25 each for tickets but the wife's friend had to cancel so we bought them for £30 for 3. The park looks very run down on entry and there were various models and stuffed reindeer etc behind glass with a button to press to make them move. None of them worked in the entire park. We had booked breakfast with Santa which was basically a rationed fryer breakfast of pretty poor quality with a… Read Full Review

Had a Brillant time today with 2 6yr old Girls and a 14 month old, had a whale of a time and the Staff let us stay in longer we were there 5 hours , and the kids didnt complain once (which is unheard of) they loved the water slides and the big tipping bucket of water. The only negatives were, it was slightly smaller than i expected and a couple of the water wheels were out of order, but the kids didnt seem to mind at all and had great fun. all in all we found it to be great value for money and… Read Full Review

“It's not that bad”

Written on: 03/09/2012

Gulliver's World is aimed at younger children. I have 4 children aged from 5 down to 10 months and we visited in August 2012. My husband and Aunt came with me so that the baby was entertained whilst we took the 5, 4 and 3 year old on the rides. They had a great day. We always take a picnic as the food is expensive and service quite slow, but I have also experienced this at Alton Towers and Blackpool. Yes it is a bit tired and dated but it is good value for money (children see most places… Read Full Review

“Close this dump down asap”

Written on: 28/08/2012 by percy007 (1 review written)

We were really looking forward to this day out, I took my three kids, aged 5, and 1. Despite clear information on the website stating that most of the rides were suitable for age 2 plus this actually meant that although they could go on some of the rides they could not with at Guout an adult and as i was unable to take the 1yr old on most of the rides, the older two missed out. Total waste of money, especially since there is no difference in price for toddlers/kids/adults. Totally unjustified… Read Full Review

“VERY DANGEROUS FOR LITTLE ONES”

Written on: 24/08/2012

I took my son (3) to gullivers world- splash zone with my two friends and there little boys (both 3 too) on weds just gone, we were all so excited and looking forward to a couple of hours of fun, as we stepped into splash zone, my first thoughts were, how unsafe the place looked for are little ones, there were kids all ages running around mad and excited (as kids do) but some the kids were very big, compared to are little ones, it was over crouded and all the metal bars and climbing frames with… Read Full Review

Written on: 22/08/2012 by happymummy26 (1 review written)

Well i was after reviews on the splash zone as we are going next week to stay in the new hotel and two days in the theme park which we have visited twice already within last 12months!! With the cost of day to day living and being a family that just gets by each month then i appreciate having gulliver nearby and being reasonably priced for entrance!! My young children 2and 4 can go on lots of rides in the park and we have never felt let down or found thefacilities dirty!! My girls have always… Read Full Review

“What a let down!”

Written on: 02/08/2012

Went to Splash Zone in Warrington with kids aged 2 - 6 years. Very excited on arrival but kids couldn't find much to do once in. Didn't like the slides because they landed on the hard floor and hurt themselves. 3 yr old was turned back at top of queue for slides - there was no sign to say who couldn't go on. Older ones loved slides but rest of time just sat and splashed in little splash pool. Nothing for 2 year old to do for more than 15 mins. My 3 year old was shivering after 40 mins and I had… Read Full Review

I think that it is disgraceful that children over a certain age still have to go in with an adult at Gullivers World Warringston Spash Zone. I have come from Manchester and had to go all the way home because Gullivers World staff would not let me in. I am 12 years old.

“Good old Gullivers”

Written on: 30/04/2012

in defence of Gulliver's World Warrington. My 4 children practically grew up there as we live 15 minutes down the road. I now take my Goddaughter aged 3 and the nostalgic teenagers love it too. Its always been a bit understaffed, most of the rides are orginal and more have been added over the years (unlike Camolott which is so run down that every other ride site is now a coconut shy) Yes its weatherbeaten and tatty in places, but my kids and thousands of others have had some many happy days… Read Full Review

“Disappointed”

Written on: 11/03/2012 by jembrocklehurst (1 review written)

We booked tickets for Gullivers world Spashzone March 10th 2012, we visited with our 3 and 4 year olds who were very excited having seen pictures on the website. After booking the tickets we read some very worrying reviews and were very concerned but happy when we arrived to allow the children in as there weren't many older children there at the time of our visit. After going on one slide my 3 year old came out shivering because there was an outside section of the slide which isn't fully covered… Read Full Review
