Gullivers Kingdom - best value for money from any attraction.a 1 hour visit to the farm for us and 3 chilldren would cost 30 pound.yes there are lots of wasps and yes it could do with less hills.but the rides are great for children and adults.so for 11 pound a person you aint getting better!

Gullivers Kingdom is a poor attraction, very disapointed. i went there as a child 20 years ago and nothing has changed, not even a fresh lick of paint. in need of major clean up and refurbishment. wasps were everywhere in drink dispensers and food preperation areas. my 4 year old did enjoy the rides but could not go on most because my two year old could not go on or there was a one adult to one child ratio so i payed for her to go on 50% of what we were told she could ride on. and at £11.5 ...- Read lrein's review (115 words)

Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock - Poor, Poor Poor value - place was very rundown. Thousands of wasps. Site extremely steep - you would really struggle with a pushchair or pram. Food outlets poor - wasps crawling over everything - up the drink dispensers, in the ice cream sprinkles and nothing was being done about it!! We tried a pizza - it was a frozen one reheated and was burnt - tasted rubbish and stodgy. Rides mainly for under 5's, nothing much for older children not bothered about roller coasters ...- Read Guest's review (121 words)

I'm afraid we thought that the Gullivers Kingdom park was in need of a major refurb. The site was dirty and the quality of the site was poor. There were thousands of wasps and 4 of our party of 7 were stung. I would not recommend this park for a day out. I am sure there are better places to take the children.- Read BarnettoWood's review (61 words)

I have just read the reviews that some people have left and I wonder whether we are talking about the same place?
I found the whole thing to be a complete nightmare at gullivers kingdom. The hills were awful - completely out of the question for people with a disability, the elderly or anyone with a pushchair and young children.
There were scary mannequins all over the place that reminded me of the horror film House of Wax! They scared our two year old to death and she wouldn't get on a single ...- Read Guest's review (165 words and 1 comment)

Gulliver's Kingdom is the best theme park that I have ever been to that offers great enjoyment for any one. It is best for 2 to 13 year olds as there are no major rides for thrill seekers. I would definately go there again, in fact i am going there tomorrow. I would go more often but I live In Nuneaton so it takes i while to get there however it is worth it! I would reccomend this to anyone especially if you have children or someone who you can take who is young!- Read Guest's review (111 words)

We took our 2 and a half year old to Gullivers today (bank hol mon) and were really really impressed. We didn't have to queue up for more than 5min for a ride and our daughter was tall enough (90cm) for most rides. She loved the Parks characters who stopped and allowed (free) photos. This place is ideal for toddlers - primary school age, there is so much to do including sand pits, indoor and outdoor play areas, climbing walls, rides, and is generally in a beautiful location, there is plenty of ...- Read lucylivysmummy's review (219 words)

I read some of the previous reviews of Gullivers Kingdom and set of for our day out with a little apprehension, however we had a fantastic day! my two children (just 3 and 5) absolutely loved it. Even the little one could go on almost everything. The park seems to have had a lick of paint recently and the staff are outstanding- can't do enough to help.
A tip worth knowing- catch the cable car to the top of the park as soon as you arrive- rides are much quieter and it means you only have to walk ...- Read jool77s's review (116 words)

It is a lovely place that brings back memories of when I was a kid and use to go there with my folks, and would you believe that some of the rides that were there then, are still there and I'm 38!I love the place having said that, its small, nice and great for you kids, although as some have said before, if you are looking for anything akin to Alton towers, then this place is not for you!We went a christmas a couple of years ago now, and it was fantastic some of the rides were open, and the staf ...- Read slayer130's review (157 words)

Gullivers Kingdom, Matlock Bath, lots of fun for the pre teens my grand children and grandparents had a wonderful day and are thinking about a season ticket. Not enough cold drinks ice cream stations. To build in to that hillside was inspirational, a wonderful theme park for small children I am looking forward to our christmas visit- Read kim morris's review (57 words)

Overall we had a good day, however this park had an air of old-age and neglect. All of the rides were operational the day we went, although some were not fully functional. For example, Silver Mine Ride was a shoot-em-up, supposedly new for 2008, where the laser guns were not working and so we just had a short, dark ride round in a circle. Personally, I'm not sure the guns working would have made that much difference, but at least you have had something to fill the time with!- Read gaznrach's review (158 words)

Every single part of Gullivers Kingdom makes me sick to my stomach. I queued for 3 hours to get in and then could only go on one ride as the entire place was crammed with staff and children pretending to be dinosaurs.- Read Guest's review (84 words)

Many rides have had their day compared with bigger parks, everything just seems a bit 'dated'. Food not nutritious or tasty. Would not recommend the chairlift with young children, it goes really high and they could get scared.- Read Guest's review (44 words)

A great park for youngsters and adults can go on the majority of the rides with them. Going when the park is quieter is better as there is less queuing - we went on everything at least twice! Adrenaline junkies will be disappointed but it's about all I could stand to take my kids on as they are not yet old enough to go on most rides alone (9 and 7). I prefer Gullivers Kingdom at Matlock Bath as it is more compact but still all the rides and facilties. Gullivers World at Warrington is flatter ...- Read riker's review (252 words)

I used to love going to Gulliver's Kingdom when I was younger. My mum and dad used to make it a yearly thing to take me and my brothers, and we always had a fun day out!
My most memorable moment was the playing card maze. You work your way into the middle of the maze, and when you get to the middle you can stand up and look around and see everything, and after getting into it I couldn't get out, and my dad had to direct me out! Haha
I also like going on the pedal bikes which are above you ...- Read emza2511's review (175 words)
