Good Points: Only takes a couple of minutes to get in the park.
Bad Points: Long queues for some of the rides.
General comments: I went to Gullivers park in the summer holidays.(2007)
It was the weekend and it didn't take long to get in the park itself. The first thing me and my family did is we went on this train. The people that drive it are a bit grumpy and it does take a couple of minutes until you get on.The train went round the whole park and each carriage could hold four people so my whole family fitted in.We were still a bit squished because the carriage is only about 1m wide! It was quite annoying because the hedges had over grown and my arms kept brushing against the branches. The park usually closes at 5pm so its a good idea to get there quite early because all of the good rides had queues when I went (Including the log flume!!!)
There were lots of rides but half of them had queues. It was a hot day and the queue was really long for the log flume so we didn't get chance to go on. There was a jungle river and the queue took something like 45minutes and the ride took 2minutes. Not really worth it.
There were two rollercoasters. The Runaway train (which went VERY fast so one lap took about 20seconds) and The Python (I didn't go on that one because we didn't have time) was bigger and probably faster. The flying carpet was fairly good. Many of the rides didn't last long though. The riders were shorter than the queing time!! The Silver mine was a bit boring, because all you did was shoot a load of red lights.BORING!

Gullivers Land had a small selection of rides and the rides were only really suitable for children under 5 years of age. Myself and my eldest daughter did not enjoy the day at all!

Gullivers Land was good fun for me and my mom, and we had a great day out! We went in early April, and we went on every ride at least twice e.g. We went on the Log Flume 13 times, and The Python 21 times.
I would advise that you go early in the year to avoid long queues.

We had a great day out at Gullivers Land Theme Park, but unfortunately it rained all day. All the rides kept us amused, but they could have had a few other rides for older kids.

Gullivers Land is a firm favorite of ours. We came across this place by accident and have recommended to all our friends with young'uns.
The park is designed for 1-6 year olds, with enough rides to tire the kids out for the journey home. You pay by height - over 90cm you pay, under you don't, which can make this park a cheap option compared to the other places
Taking a picnic is not a problem, so I cannot say about the food
Overall we've been there 4 times and enjoyed every visit

Gullivers Land is cheap to enter compared to most other parks. It has great food and rides. Although it is for the youngens, my husband and myself actually enjoyed the day aswell, and as a mother of two, a 6yr old and a 3yr old, I would recomend that you give Gullivers Land a go. There are 3 parks, Milton Keynes, Warrington Spa and Matlock. We all liked it so much, we are going back again in August 05.

Gulliver's land Milton Keynes is full of fun for the entire family, not only dose the park have rides for younger children they have a wide selection of rides for older children. The Park is split up into five areas lilliput land, Adventure land, Discovery bay, Toy town and the main street area. Adventure land is more for the older child, there is a swinging ship, a rollercoaster called the Python and the tree top swings!!! Discovery bay has a mixture of rides they range from log coasters to log ...
