    Good Points: You could write these on the back of a first class stamp - and still have room for the queens head.

    General comments: I have just returned Bosch SHU53 to the retailer; that probably says all you need to know about this item. I bought this Bosch dishwasher on the recommendation of a friend, with friends like him, who needs enemies? What a cock-up from start to finish - I have spent a grotesque amount of money on repairs. The electronics have malfunctioned twice and the valve has also required repairs. And guess what? The electronic board is now broken again but Bosch will not extend the warranty despite the fact this is blatantly a dodgy part. On top of all these calamities it is very noisy and isn't even fit for the purpose it was built for, we have to scrub and rinse everything before loading because it doesn't clean well either. I'd rather burn my next wage-slip than deal with these jokers again.

    The service man that came to replace the control panel on my Bosch dishwasher for the third time said that this is a common problem with all Bosch dishwashers. I wish I had known that before I spent the $1000.00 to buy it in the first place. I was had by Bosch and will never buy another of their products!

    Owned our Bosch SHU 53 series dish washer about 14.5 months. At about 6 months we had the circuit board burn out. The appliance company we bought the dish washer from (and who installed it) replaced it under warranty. It took almost two weeks to get it fixed. The service guy felt the ground was not good and so he "fixed" that too (free of charge). Last night the dishwasher literally burned up. We're talking fire department and everything. This expensive SHU 53 is now a piece of lawn art in my ba ...
