    On arrival the apartment was not even cleaned from the last guests. We had to request it!!! Reception sent us for an 'apology drink' in the Sol pool bar. We got half a carton of what was supposed to be 'Sangria', but it was undrinkable. We went back to the apartment which had been cleaned, only to find that the cleaner must have broken a bottle, and part of it my daughter had stood on, the rest was swept under the bed!! The place was dirty, and I expected someone to shout 'wakey, wakey in the the morning, as Castillo Beach Sol is like Butlins!! Although I am not saying that Butlins is dirty - I only went once in the 60's.

    All I can say is we got out of there as fast as we could!! We stayed for one night and with the help of our courier and paying extra, they found us a fantastic hotel.

    There is lots for people to do at the Castillo Beach Sol Apartments in Fuerteventura, as there are lots of things on-site. It's only 10 minutes walk to the nearest shopping village, and there is a very nice beach there too. I would definitely go again! I got a lovely tan too!

    Been in resort several times since 1989 Castillo Beach Sol apartments very run down. Many complaning at reception at damp conditions in bungalows, lighting poor, indoors 40 watt bulbs only when they worked. Door locks stiff to open and doors scraping the floor in all the whole place could do with a good going over and clean will definitely not be going back again and will not be recommending to anyone.

    Castillo Beach Sol Apartment - Have been there twice before and will be back again this year (2004). Lovely, apartments are spotless and modern. Locals very friendly and customer service is first class. Lots to see and do, beach not far from complex. Entertainment is fantastic with a choice of venues to choose from nightly.     Castillo Beach Sol Apartment - The food in the Mirador is a must and between 5 and 7 everynight if you buy an adult meal you can get a child's meal free. The apartments were always clean as were the pools, there is also a good family atmosphere and can't wait to get back there in about a month's time. 10/10

    I found there was nothing to do at the Beach Sol Apartment and wouldn't go to Fuerteventura again. Lanzarote is so much nicer
