    Good Points: Unit has been in use weekly for about 12 months. It has a good suck and removes unwanted material.
    Control of trailing wire is good and controled.


    Bad Points: Gets hot if used too long and shuts of. Waiting time for cooling down too long (half an hour.) Unit only used twice per week not extensively used.


    General comments: Swan SC2003 unit ceased to work after about 12 months work. No dealers in this city. Original dealer gone out of business no service available. Stripped unit appart, found the rubber rear motor support had broken allowing motor to rotate. spares not readily available material does not appear to be strong enough. If corrected and repaired could be a good unit.

    Swan SC2003 - Had the vacuum as a gift (cheesy I know) and worked fine for two days!! until motor overheated and cut out. Realised that we had to watch carefully and stop hoovering when the casing became too hot to touch. This carried on for about a year until one day I turned the machine on and after a small whine it died completely. After taking the vacuum to bits and finding no obvious explanation, we concluded that we had to get a new one. Luckily it is still under extended warranty...just, ...

    I bought my Swan SC2003 vacuum cleaner out of a catalogue for what I thought was a bargain price at the time (much dearer than now) and it worked fine for about 6 months or so - wasn't used overly or run for long periods at a time. However, it suddenly died one day after a slightly longer session and the casing was extremely hot to touch. Duly carted it off to a local repairman (had misplaced the receipt, etc. stupidly) who fixed it for £30 and told me the motor casing was faulty, allow ...
