Good Points: Cheap, Great, Reliable and Compatible card.

Bad Points: Dropping Frames on capture longer than 45 minutes. Sound synchronization can be lost on 45 minutes plus analog video output.

General comments: Most problems users have with the card are not related to the card!!! Software is very simple and usefull for beginner level. Main problem with it is lack of stupidity check as more advanced programs have. (I mean moving the mouse, searching web ... you name it while capturing). If You know what the system does and how to properly stop it - there are no crashes at all.

Again you need to understand how much data the pc is processing and how much horsepower it needs to use as well affordable solution.

If anyone has problems check your hardware first then kill all "usefull" programs on the background. And beleave me you will be happy with the card and software. (Adobe Premiere 6.5 works great with it with no limits and crashes...)

I tried DC10+ on almost everything: WinXP, Win98, Win2K. I tried it on several machines from Pentium4 to a Dual Xeon with 4GB of RAM. Conclusion: UNSTABLE. If you want to edit VCD's or DVD's from old VHS tapes don't use DC10+. Lost frames, effect hickups and sound/music bugs will make you insane. If you want to edit tapes and output the result to video, better put a bullet in your head. I never managed to output more than 5 minutes of video without a fatal error. Advice: don't buy this product. ...
