Good Points: None
Bad Points: Noisy, weighs a tonne, poor suction after a while, filter needs to be cleaned.
General comments: The Morphy Richards IQ Cyclonic 71050 is a very poor vacuum cleaner. i have been lugging it around the house for years but i am ready to say "enough". now on the lookout for a proper one.

bagless vacuum cleaners are overrated. you might save on the cost of bags but you have added cost of new filters and/or time spent on cleaning filters. I have heard of similar complaints about Dyson. will be going back to one with bag- Read Guest's review (100 words)

This is the first bagless vacuum I have used, and while I did get it free through work (a gift for excellent work) I would still buy one given the choice. - I have heard the same comments about loss of suction and cleaning filters from people using other manufacturers units that are 4 times the price.- Read smetherton's review (107 words)

When I first got this Morphy Richards IQ Cyclonic 71050 vac, I was quite pleased with it despite the noise and the small dust holding capacity. However when I had a new carpet laid, I found out that this model has a serious design weakness. The hose runs into a curved plastic handle and this curved handle gets clogged with carpet fluff. I had to prize the handle apart to clear it. I got it back together, only for it to clog again on an older carpet. I agree with the last person who said it is us ...- Read AnneW's review (119 words)

You do have to clean the filter of the Morphy Richards IQ Cyclonic 71050 regularly but a spare one is included so that you can alternate them. It is heavy to carry and noisey but over all, its the best vacuum I've had and the suction is good for pet hair. Also you don't need to replace bags or filters.- Read niamhb's review (74 words)

Morphy Richards Vacuum Cleaners are absolutley useless!
Noisey, poor suction. Needs emptying and filter needs lengthy cleaning before every use, just to get any sort of suction. Emptying is a pain - dust everywhere (what's the use of HEPA filtration to a dust allergy sufferer, if I get it all back in my face everytime I empty it).
Had my previous vacuum for 8 years - this has lasted 4 months and has now stopped working completely.- Read jcross2004's review (83 words and 2 comments)
