    Good Points: Very light and straightforward to use.
    Easy to clean.


    Bad Points: Throws out dust when switched on. Very noisy. Suction very good for first few days then deteriorates rapidly, even when emptied and cleaned according to instructions.


    General comments: We bought the LG VC6240HE on the recommendation of my mother who recomended it for picking up dog hair. We have two dogs and our old Meila cat and dog was on its last legs after 8 good years of service. Mistake! We returned the LG within two weeks thinking we had a faulty machine as it was noisy, dusty and smelled bad after only two weeks of use. The second one is now being returned after one months use and having the same faults. Perhaps we have been unlucky but I am not trying a third one. By the way my brother also bought one on mums recommendation and neither he or his wife like it.
