    Good Points: Good quality plastic, powerful


    Bad Points: Mine sprinkled dust out of the main canister (even after Dyson replaced it).


    General comments: Its was a great deal of money for my DC11, and it worked fine allergy wise for 6 months, then it started losing dust around the canister (replaced by dyson but still a problem).
    I would hope the latest dyson design is better. As a vacuum cleaner it was excellent...as an allergy buster it was rubbish for me.
    Unfortunately I wont be spending £300 on another dyson, the allergy side is very important to me, and once bitten.

    All in all the Dyson DC11 Allergy Canister is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. It does a fantastic job of cleaning away all the deep down dirt, dust, food and pet hair that may be stuck to the carpet or upholstery. The filters and the turbo-brush are easy to get at for cleaning in warm water when needed. Emptying the barrel is a breeze and it's great to be able to see just how much dirt it is picking up.     Unfortunately the bad points outweigh the good, if you like a cylinder hoover then it will probably be ok, but I found it hard work to get out and put away again, also if you do not click the telescopic wand out correctly it keeps folding. Hard work carrying up stairs and rather noisy.
