Had my SMK G10 for about 15 years and recently dusted it off and still works fine. Much better with BB's than pellets (and then it's a repeater too). Very solid construction, nice weight in the hand and fun to shoot over short range (out to about 10-12meters with BB's). Don't expect to go hunting with it but smacking cans about it in the back garden, it's in it's element.

A true fun gun, great value for money, clever mechanism really impressed with it. It is worth remembering that you get what you pay for and it is a budget airpistol. This is seen in the accuracy of the gun which is not good, I hit a tin can 1 out of 4 times at 10 yards. However it is more powerful than I was expecting around the 2ft lb mark or 210- 250 fps depending on the ammo, it will go through 1 side of a coke can so useless for hunting but brilliant for 'plinking'.
    Overall the SMK G10 is a ...

Very impressed, a truely fun gun with a fair power. The pistol has a good weight to it and clean finish. More powerful that I expected approximately 2ft lb or around 210-250 fps depending on ammo, so great for plinking but just cruel and unrealistic for hunting. It is worth remembering that you get what you pay for and at under thirty pounds you can not expect wonders. This is seen in the accuracy which is poor, I am hitting a coke can 1 out of 4 times at 10 yrds. Overall the

the SMK G10 is a all round good gun for what it is.
the best way to sum it us is dont expect to much.
i had one years ago when i was younger and it was good fun, and that is what its is, a fun gun, you want to be pin point with shooting at 15 foot away or something, dont by a G10, they are a garen plinking gun and great for it.
i know others have slated this gun, and the reason they do this is they expect it to be something its not, this guy has hardly changed in all the years its been made, and ...

If you stick to the metal balls and darts this is a great air gun. dont expect miracles from it as its small but it does what it says it will. good value for money and durable. power didnt drop off much over time so its a long term. 20 pellet capacity is my favorite thing about it. if you have owned air soft before beware as this is in a different league. in fact its not even the same sport. i enjoyed this gun A LOT and i think you will also.

This has got to be one of the worst air pistols out there. It's relatively expensive for what it is.

It looks a decent build quality with it being metal. The cocking and loading of this gun is absurd. First the front of the barrel is pushed down to provide a hole to load a pellets or a hole to put BB's.

The hole to put pellets in is so far down the barrel it is no wonder it is weak and inaccurate. The ammo only has about 2 inches of barrel to travel down.

Once the pellet is loaded you m ...

I've been looking to get a SMK G10 for a while now, and it finally came today. Having read every single review on this gun, i am going to try an answer questions which most other reviews have not covered.

The gun comes in a nice secure box, with a leaflet telling you everything you need to know about how to operate the gun. There is also a sache with about 50 .177 BB's in, and an ammo seater inside.
Having taken the gun out of the box, i was pleased to find after a long time anticipating wha ...

This is an air pistol is found to be the best low priced airgun and a great value for money. I have one of these and think its the best spring airpistol as others are not good at firing rapidly. As this is a pistol it is made for short range not as long range a others of you above are disappointed about its long range ability. If you use plastic .177 bb's it is great for long range and if you use the lead free Promethes pellets they are also good for mid range as the accuracy and speed will stri ...

This is the first air pistol I have bought, and I have to say it was a good choice.

When shot, a loud sound from the springs action can be heard, which is good.

Pellets go about 5 meters when fired, so it is useless! But BB's are pretty accurate. It is good for plinking or shooting light bulbs!!!

I bought the SMK G10 Air Sports Pistol quite a while ago. I used it most the time on my field along with my Air rifle. I found the SMK had a slight touch of recoil but no to much to throw you off target. I have now customized mine so now it had a Silvergrip pad, Golden screws and a new T spring so it has much more power than thwe older spring, over all I give the pistol 9/10 1 to own :)

I was impressed with the feel and weight of the SMK G10 pistol, and I liked the cocking action. Shooting is fairly satisfying as it is loud, and has a bit of recoil. It's fairly accurate, and can shoot a nice variety of projectiles!

It could have done with being a bit more powerful perhaps. You can get the SMK S2/S3 for about the same price, which is at least twice as powerful. Still it's OK, and will punch a respectable hole in a coke can at about 10m.

    It's a nice upgrade from a 6mm plast ...

I bought the Smk G10 air pistol a while ago now, but still use it from time to time. It has a very good feel to it, with just enough weight and a good balance. It looks reasonably good, but the black finish is very easily chipped, especially around the slide. It is easy to use. Simply put up to 18 bb's or a dart/pellet into the front compartment, and facing the gun upwards, cocking the gun with the slide (which can be difficult at times). As far as performance it is not great. It's very low powe ...

The Smk G10 is a really good gun for the first buy. At £30 its a bargain. It's a good all round gun and has a great look of realism about it. The weight and size makes you feel like your holding a real gun. I should know, I've been to America. The g10 has a power of 1.75 foot pounds approx. The accuracy is quite good at short range but starts to dip at 10m or so.

I have had my Smk G10 for about 2 years now and overall its very good because its tough and durable and very reliable. It isnt very powerful but its not bad. So overall if you are buying your first air pistol I would choose this one.
