Good Points: My pistol has the barrel extension so its slightly more accurate. i bought the adjustable rear sight also and can hit a 1.5inch grouping from 30feet away. its comfy and very robust as i have dropped it several times and it still works! this pistol has allot of add ons available for it also.
Bad Points: Sometimes it slips a chamber and doesn't fire, maybe due to dropping it! but it only happens once or twice to a co2 cylinder.
General comments: I would highly recommend this pistol to anyone whether its for plinking or serious target shooting.

On re-living my youth with my shooting hobby i am 99% happy with choosing my c225.
Along with good looks it delivers both accuracy & power in an efficient manner. I picked mine up from a local gun shop who also rate it & is beyond measure in comparison to a single action cheaper pistol.

I have had My RWS C225 for a month now and to me its a very well made and has a very solid feel to it,
Th only down side I found was the trigger seemed a tad to far forward which can hinder accuracy in double action mode how ever in single action its spot on and cant fault it in any way.
Its a bit expensive how ever th dealer I brought the C225 from
chucked in an extra 500 RWS hobby pellets and a box of 10
sparklets which made it more competetive price wise.
If I was to go back in time to w ...

My RWS C225 4 an excellent CO2 gun, and my first (I bought mine 8 or so years ago and it still gives me loads of fun). Extremely realistic and accurately modelled to the real thing, excellently weighty/heavy, and GREAT fun to lose off eight rapid shots to splat eight tin cans.
On the down-side, it's not that accurate, and I don't like the way that you can't operate the slide release control quickly enough through a whole 90 degrees before the breech opens. When you operate the control, you ...

I'm very amazed by the feeling of this RWS C225 pistol, you can really imagine that you are shooting with a real one !!
That's great...But to enjoy the shooting, you'll have to practise a little if you are a beginner.

I love the RWS C225 4, it feels nice and solid in the hand, has great power and accuracy, I was given this by my brother a while ago now and the only problems I've had was that I lost the rear sight after a couple of days, a replacement cost me £9.00, I used some gasket sealer on the small screw that holds the sight in place, this seems to remove some of the shock when using the pistol and the sight hasn't moved a bit, also if I try to use the double action it jams up, as long as I cock th ...

RWS C225 4 - Decided against most others for the serious look and appearance of the Nickel c225.
A good solid 'no-nonsense' gun, weighty but smaller than others such as the Berretta, though still a handful! Adequate firepower, maybe worth getting the 6" conversion for added muzzle velocity, apparently 120 - 130 m/s. Nice 'snappy' firing-action.
The drop-down magazine release catch gets stuck occasionally and is gradually wearing my thumb out. The trigger seems a little far forward than oth ...

The Dynamit Nobel RWS Mod. C225 is a well built, good looking powerful air pistol.
I have owned it for quite some time now, and I have to say that although it is excellent in some areas, the weight and safety system let it down.
If you are considering buying it for a first, you should take a second look at the Walther CP88; it has similar performance but is a bit more expensive.

In comparison to the colt(crossman) 1911 - none. The RWS C225 4 is more accurate and better made. (still wouldnt go to the pub with it, though.) The Walther cp88 is a close shot, but is more nose heavy, and requires a little more lubrication. The walther cp99 - not close. The accuracy isn't as close. It is lighter than the 225, though. If your looking more for a fun plinker, go for Walthers' ppk/s semi-auto. The recoils a real kick( no pun intended). But be careful - the ppk's got a tendency t ...

I've had my pistol for about four years now. I bought it on a whim after seeing it laying in a display case and unlike some of my other purchases I'm still very pleased with this one. The gun is still going after having about 10,000 rounds through it, and that is without a total cleaning. I keep it oiled and clean the visible surfaces regularily, but I wouldn't say that I go out of my way to keep it immaculate. I accidentlly lost it in the trunk of my car for about three months and even thou ...

I am reviewing the RWS c225 6" version not the 4"
I ordered my RWS c225 6" from jsr ramsbottom for £110, and bought 50 co2 capsules and some pellets. It arrived next day and when I opened the box I took out the grey RWS box and opened that, inside it had a tin of rws pellets, 2 rotary magazines, 2 allen keys for gun maintenance and the gun wrapped in plastic to protect the foam case from the factory fresh preserving grease it was in.
I loaded a Co2 capsule (very easy to do) and loade ...

I just thought you should know the problems i had with it. Looks better than the others i think, small and "feels" better! Also lots of customising ability. It broke after about six months use (not even heavy use!) It went back to RWS and they fixed it but guess what it broke again! Now it just goes "puff". Thant just about sums it up!!

I've had my RWS for about a week now and don't regret buying it,it's simple to use and extremley accurate and will provide you with hours of fun if you are thinking of buying one.
This gun is very powerfu well made and is well balanced,so far no real complaints apart from finding the right ammo.

Ive had my RWS C225 for over six months now and i must say im impressed with it, it have given me many hours of enjoyment and has proven it self to be extremely accurate even though i am using the factory standard open sights. It uses the standard 8 shot rotary magazine of most of the C02 pistols on the market and although this is no doubt enough for some shooters i find it a little too quick in running out of ammo. The gun is fairly heavy when you pick it up but the weights in the right place i ...
