These books are great and i just wish that someone that actually read the book would make a great movie about all of them. I know that i would definitely watch it. If you love this book you should definitely write a review to tell the people looking to read it how good it was.

I loved it, I read all of her series nearly, and this was one of my ultimate favourites, she makes it so that you feel like YOU are Alanna.

Alanna and her twin brother Thom both have the gift. Thom, being a boy, has the choice to either go to school to study his gift or go become a knight. The only choice Alanna has is to go to a girls school and learn how to become a "proper lady." But Alanna dreams of becoming a knight. Basically, this girl and her twin switch places- he to mageschool, she off to train as a page. The rest of the series is about her struggles first to keep up with the rest, and then to keep her secret as her body- and her talent for healing- developed. Also mixed in is her romances with the theif, George, and the Prince, Jonathan. The dead walk, magic corrupts, and the gods walk among men. I hope you have as much fun reading these books as I did.

The books were all excellent and i wish that i had found out about them earlier. A great read for a rainy day, they can be read so many times so go out and buy the first one, Alanna:The First Adventure (bad title, i know but it is a great book)
