    Bad Points: When the oven arrives, the masking tape to keep doors closed in transit is very difficult to remove completely, maybe try electrical tape??


    General comments: Had this Hotpoint BD62 oven 2 weeks and performance poor. The 16 year old oven I disposed of performed better than this oven. Engineer came out, discovered one element not working, Hotpoint did exchange like for like so will wait and see how the replacement performs.

    The Hotpoint BD62 is efficient, stays clean and looks good. Good design. Had it for 3 or 4 years with no problems at all. Used at least once a day. Still looks great and has very reliable results. Cooking settings very versatile.

    Do not buy this device under any circumstances. Although no problems with it functionally, the loss of thermostat is clearly a design issue, which Hotpoint refuses to acknowledge.
