Good Points: Great Sound! Can change all individual parts.

    Bad Points: Hurt the pockets!

General comments: Great sound on the Sennheiser HD 25's and are, unlike some, durable and reliable.

High SPL. Comfortable to wear. Very good frequency response, particularly low-end. Accurate.
These are the best general-purpose headphones for use in loud environments ie: live audio.
    Well recommend Sennheiser HD25 headphone.

Deep bass and clear sound, very light.
Not very sturdy, cord too short..Very good quality headphones, could be a little bit studier and the cord longer
Well recommend Sennheiser HD 25 headphones.

Amazing sound, specially bass response.Great for mixing and picking up things you don't hear on speakers. Can't use them for very long. Only for critical listening or bass workSore ears after 30mins or so. that real shame Overall, so worth it.

A few of my mates who dj in clubs use the Sennheiser HD 25, I have tried technics ones and nu-mark headphones as a cheap option but wasn't worth the money as i had to keep replacing the headphones all the time , i found hd 25's are by far the best

I bought my pair just about 6 months ago and i reckon they stack up to anything in this sector. they've been used on a daily basis either mixing, monitoring or even wandering round town with an mp3 player. They are perfect for checking a final mix or master as they'll pick up on issues i've never managed to hear on speakers. be careful though they can go very loud and this could easily lead to fatigue.i'd recommend these to anyone as they'll cover every job u could ever think of in sound and afte ...

Having used several monitoring headphones over the past ten years or so I've found these to be quite amazing in the clarity of reproduction. Mixing is a dream, translate fantastically to my Genelec 8030A's in an acoustically treated room. They really are good. Don't rely on panning cos there's no crossover with closed back design's but believe me you will hear every imperfection...Perfection.

I have had to have 2 sets of these units replaced under warranty , it seems to be bad connections in either left or right channel , starting off as a small crackle and turning into something you really need to manipulate to get any sound out of , these phones are great when they work , but getting them to is another story.

These Sennheisers rule. While other models from this maker are generally either cheap and forgettable or huge, these compact cans mean business. They're loud, and they'll tell you exactly what you're hearing. In this price range, you can find headphones that have a "slicker" sound, but none of them will be as versatile; I use mine for home listening, session monitoring in the studio, DJing and camera work.

The swiveling left-hand earcup and the split bridge headrest together make these the pe ...

Sennheiser's HD-25 headphones are a legend in the pro audio world and became the industry standard almost as soon as they were released.

The first truly lightweight headphone, comfortable enough for prolonged use and delivering a sound quality that enables critical listening. Having used AKG, Beyer and many other headphones these are my favourite.

Why? First the build quality is superb almost every part of the unit can be replace if damaged, so if you snap a cable or tear off an ear pad yo ...

I've had these headphones for around 2 years now and am generally pleased with their overall performance. The sound quality is decent but is not the best around. While there is a high level of detail in the presentation, they can sound slightly raw or bright particularly with very trebly music. Equally, the bass can seem a little lightweight on thunderous tracks but does retain focus.

Sadly, the build quality isn't that great, especially when you consider the price. Of note are the earpeice ...

Well constructed and nice padding on ear they would probably be great if youre a dj but not if you like to hear anything other than sub. Top ends quite crisp but probably a bit prominant as well. Far far far too much bass. Can't listen for long periods without getting severe fatigue. For this price the sony mdr-7506 are a far better choice

Having used more less all the leading headphone brands including Sony MDR700, Technics RPDJ 1210,Pioneer HDJ 1000 etc. HD 25's are by far the best. The quality of sound is excellent offering extraordinarily deep bass, crystal clear middle and a crispy treble sound. Closed cup design provides a brilliant isolation from the outside noise making them perfect for both club dj-ing and studio use. They are light weight at only 140 gr. and therefore very comfortable for use over a long period. All par ...
