Never, ever buy anything from this company. We've had a coffee machine, built in, and a very expensive 90 litre oven and they've been the worst purchases ever made. For a premium priced product you'd think they would work flawlessly, but no. The coffee machine needs almost monthly service to function properly, otherwise it refuses to work as the "water tank is empty" - when it's completely full. As for the oven. I am the owner of a De Dietrich Hob Oven and Grill for the past too years I have had cover for all the units with De Dietrich the cover ended on the 29/04/2014 I rang De Dietrich to renew my cover only to be told they don't cover there own goods any more I asked why and was told they just decided not to cover anyone no explanation, if only I could give the goods back or better still show them on T/V I wonder what they would have to say… Read Full Review

On the advice of a salesman, we fitted our kitchen with de dietrich products. They look good, but don't last - and the maintenance is very difficult. The combi microwave grill is useless, the oven was OK until the heating elements needed replacing - and the simple task took hours. Thinking of buying a Fagor (DeDietrich) oven - take a hint - DON'T. We installed this oven 5 years ago on a kitchen refit. Twice during the 5 year warranty period the oven temperature control switch has become defective. On both occasions the wrong switch was sent to the repairer. On the first occasion the correct switch was sent after 3 weeks. Bought De Detrich DOD788B1 double oven with new kitchen. On carrying out cleaning process which also locks the door on the main oven,the internal glass cracked. Optiplan who fitted the kitchen point blank refused to help & after speaking to the MD who referred us to De Detrich who also refused as the glass was only guaranteed for one month! Purchased new kitchen and they recommended Dietrich appliances and these appliances spoilt my kitchen I without dount could have spent at least 70% less and got far better not only that their customer services should be prosecuted under trade descriptions. Three of appliances broke within 13 months but because i was not told by my kitchen fitter I need to register my appliance i was out of warrenty and having spent over £5,000 I was not happy! We purchased a house which had the integrated appliances removed so felt obliged to mirror the same manufacturer as the oven and induction hob already present. We purchased an oven/microwave combo and a steam oven. To sum up briefly, extremely stylish, at the top end of the price scale. Very poor products, even worse back up, not intuitive. I bought a new De Dietrich oven recently, had it installed but it was faulty. Went back to supplier but owners had retired, so spoke to manufacturer. They said that although they offer a 1 year manufacturers warranty, mine was not the latest model so refused to repair. Bought an induction hob 18 months ago. Within 6 months the sensors controls failed. These were replaced. At the time the engineer broke the glass top. Through Christmas with sticky tape on hob. Returned to same fault 3 months later. Six months later, same problem. Rang DE-DIETRICH to be told that all manufacturers have failure rates. As with others posting reviews here, I am utterly disappointed with the reliability (or lack of it!) from what was branded a top-end product. When I spoke to De Dietrich head office in the UK I was told that their ovens only had a life expectancy of 5-6 years! Had I have known this I would never have purchased one. The double oven controls are made of plated styrene. The vapour from the oven attacks the styrene resulting in splitting. We are on our fourth set of 4 knobs; at £54.00 per set - an expensive spare. Owning a De Dietrich product is an absolute nightmare. I spent £2000 on a double oven and hob as part of a new kitchen installation and they are the most unreliable appliances that I have ever owned. This coupled with the worst warranty repair service that I have ever experienced makes the entire decision to buy from this manufacturer an expensive mistake.

We've had our De Dietrich range cooker for a while now - we were foolishly talked into buying it when we had our kitchen refitted, and knowing no better we went along with a salesman's advice. What fools we were. Within months, the rubber trim had come off around the doors of both ovens and proved impossible to replace or refit. Well were should I start! A great looking oven but what a load of rubbish and the american idiot on customer services needs his head looking at, he is sooo rude.
How this man can be allowed to work talking calls in customer services it surpasses me! Unbelieveable!!!

A complete disaster.And when I complained to Die Dietrich got nowehere fast. Letter from a service manager said their warranty is operated by an independent organisation and they do not emply repair engineers.
They then had the nerve to conclude "we assure you of our best attention at all times.I am now in the process of buying a Leisure cooker at a fratction of the Fagor Brandt price!!

We bought a top of the range De Dietrich DOD 798 double oven just over a year ago, and it has proved an utter disaster.
Instead of using simple dials and knobs, all controls are activated by faint touch symbols, with different symbol combinations to touch for each task. Consequently our oven is plastered with sticky notes reminding us what to do to achieve the settings needed. It drives us crazy. My advice would be - never ever buy a Die Dietrich product - you have been warned!They look good, are easy to use, but are totally unreliable. I am on my third oven in 3 years and the rings on the induction hob(two on this occassion)have just failed again. This will be the second induction hob if it has to be replaced (which I suspect it will). The wiring melted on the first one! I spent over 2K on this kit. I would never ever ever buy ANY De Dietrich appliances again and can only wholeheartedly agree with all the comments here. My experiences have been a nightmare I spent nearly 2k on various De Dietrich kitchen appliances from a kitchen supplier. When I started to have problems I found De Dietrich'customer service' totally unhelpful and inconsiderate (not surprisingly found out they are not owned by De Dietrich they are a third party servicing company)
