After hearing great things from Youtubers and fellow bloggers about this foundation, I thought I'd give it a try. Testing it on a 45 degree heat (or 113 Fahrenheit), and wearing it for 19 hours straight - it definitely lasted on my face for that long! The only problem I found with this is the lack of oil control. Though I purchased the range for combination/oily skin, I still had a constant shine over my face. You have no I dea how surprised I was with the quality of this foundation. I have incredibly oily skin, and usually I have to reapply foundation bronzer and powder about two hours after I put it on. I've tried tons of products, both drug store and high end, and honestly, this foundation works better than all of them for me. My previous foundation crush was NARS Matte Finish, but at $40 bucks a bottle, I wasn't crazy about repurchasing. Plus I was still reapplying makeup every couple hours.... (read more)

I decided to branch out from my usual foundation - I was tired of it feeling too greasy and heavy. I read some reviews and decided to try Colorstay. It was a little more expensive than my usual, but at £12 it's still a cheaper than many others - and definitely value for money! It feels really light, and blends really well with my skin tone. It's definitely the best foundation I've used. My skin has a tendency to be quite dry, and all the foundations I've tried so far have only highlighted... (read more)

im very disappointed in this product, i heard such good reviews on this product so i decided to go to the shop and purchase this. The proce was very high for a drug store foundation. it cost me £12.50, and what a waste of money it was, i still got more than half the bottle left, this foundation smell was horendous, very chemicalfied, the coverage was ok however by the end of the day it did tend to become very oily, and my face looked grey. i will not be getting this product again. I have tried so many make up lines and I ALWAYS come back to this brand...some reviewers say it is blotchy and I will say that you must put on a moisturizer first or it will "grab" and won't let go. I use a sponge applicator to apply my foundation with and it is awesome! It is liquid which I like as you can smooth it where you need it. Just remember, it WILL stay wherever you leave it, hence the name "Colorstay"! Be sure to blend and don't be afraid to apply more if you need it after... (read more)

I bought this foundation after hearing it lasted a long time while giving medium to full coverage, (a must for me as I'd used foundations in the past that just started to "slide" off my face after just two hours...not nice). I bought and used the oily/combination skin version in and I have to say, I haven't looked back since! By far the best out of the foundations I've tried in the past. Here's an overview:
Pros:
- Lasts AGES: OK, it started fading a little with me after about 5-6 hours,...

After 3 years of trying a variety of foundations from different brands, i wasn't satisfied with any of them.I don't usually use Revlon but as i have an oily T-zone and dry skin around my cheeks i thought i'll try the Revlon Colourstay oily/combination type. Also, as the foundation is full coverage i thought it might cover up the redness around my nose and cheeks-which it has!

So I tried this after not having much luck finding a drugstore foundation that will last a day in the Australian summer. Heard so many good things on the internet and decided to go for it, despite the price ($38AU, fortunately I got it 15% off, but still).
Firstly, colours were difficult. I have a fair complexion with more of a yellow undertone, so went for sand beige 180. It's not an exact match but is close enough. However I was impressed that they have it for oily/combo and normal/dry...

This product was pretty good for a drugstore foundation. Although, their color selection was very limited (I couldn't find a shade that was light and yellow enough for me) so I couldn't find my shade. This foundation was extremely thick so application is hard because you need to work fast with it or it'll dry up on your skin. You need to blend it really good because it won't look similar to your skin. Coverage is good. I don't like how the foundation comes in a open top bottle (It pours out... (read more)

This foundation gives a good coverage but still looks really natural, which I love. It also stays put all day in spite of my oily skin. I do get a little bit of shine through as the day goes on, but it doesn't look really bad or slide off like some other foundations.
Main bad points are the shoe polish-like smell and the fact that there's no dispenser on the bottle, so it's difficult to get the right amount.

Colors do not match my fair skin. ALL the colors seem to be for more medium, warm toned beige skin colors even the lightest color . Since around the early to mid-90s, I religiously have used Revlon's ColorStay Foundation. It provided a full coverage that I could not find in any other foundation on the market at the time.
After the acne disappeared, I opted for other brands to suit my ever-changing skin, but I never was completely satisfied. I've tried several brands over the years: L'Oreal, Mary Kay,...

I decided to buy Revlon ColorStay Makeup Foundation after the good reviews I read and heard, but it didn't work for me so well. I found this review very helpful because I think I have nearly a whole Boots drawer full of various brand foundation and all of them are rubbish! I have oily skin, but good skin and not one of them do what they say on the tin. All make my skin oily within 1/2 and look caked. so thanks to the Review I have just been and spent a huge £ 11.99 and lets see, just put it on and looking good so far.
