I have to say the colors are wonderful but the lipstick comes off at the center of my lips, it's flaky. After using it, my lips felt dry and the next day i had herpes all over my lips. (read more)

I bough the color 110 passionate and love it! But it seems to flake off from the center of my lips even if i use the moisturizing top coat.. I don't think i will buy more but i'll use this one for the sake of my used money. I would've hoped for more of a flexible finish that moves with the lips, but instead it cracks, and you can basically just rub it off from the center. (read more)

disappointing.. like a felt tip pen running out of colour. i would have took it back to complain and ask for a refund but had lost the receipt. have only used it twice and ended up with another lipstick on top to conceal the awful patchy mess it made. a complete waste of £7.99 !!!!! avoid!!!! Compared to other brands this is THE one to buy. Its a bit more expensive but stays on longer and is nice and thick so you only need to apply one coat. It does not come out streaky or transparent in places, love it!!! (read more)

I have loved using this lipstain however I hae found that it comes off the centre of my lips very quickly and if you try and reapply it seems to create a horrible flaky mess. I have found recently that my lips have become very sore and painful virtually all the time and wondered if any other users have had the same problem from long-term use of this lipstain? (read more)

The only problem that I have is that,having bought only Lipfinity since it was first brought out,I now have over 25 containers with some lipstick in but not usable.Is there anything that can be added so that you can use it up right to the last bit,please ?I am a 69 year old pensioner and I am very selective about my things because,like everyone else,I cannot afford to waste money. yes I have the same problem left with 1/4 of unuseable lipstick at the top.... I love the product, BUT it doesn't last long !!!!!! I feel cheated and not getting good value !!!!

I totally agree with Cathy's review as I have had the same problem with the Infinity and no amount of moisturising will help. Plus I found that after an hour or so, the lipstick started to flake off and looked absolutely awful. I guess this one is not suitable for all lips.

I have shades 90 - Majestic, and 92 Exuberant...both are too dark for my lips and complexion. They looked like a dark pinky-red on the chart but are both a burgundy colour...they make my lips look small and unnatural! I didn't pay full price for either of these and was impressed with their staying power so I then purchased a Lipfinity Everlights in 09 - Magical, which I am very happy with. The Max Factor Lipfinity is an excellent lipstick and believe me I have tried everything on the market from premier to cheap brands. Make sure you get a special oil based remover for this or even baby oil will do the trick if you have none, because believe me once it's on it doesn't come off. Love it love it love it! I own 2 colours and intend to get more. It does what it promises: it stays on all day! I put mine (08) on at 7 am and it's still there when I get home, at 6 pm.
Removal is tricky as it doesn't wipe off like regular lipstick does. I find that a remover intended for waterproof eye make-up does the trick though.

This lipstick, I feel, is the best of its type on the market.
Once max Factor Lipfinity lipstick has been 'fixed' with the glosser it is there for the day! (Unless you eat greasy food).
I am a receptionist, and I do a lot of talking. I put it on at 6.30am and it is still there at tea time.
There are so many colours to choose from that you will find one to suit your colouring, as there are reds, pinks and browns.

I found Max Factor Lipfinity almost impossible to apply. I bought two shades - one I bought first and once applied it, looked completely different from the bottle, so I had to get a replacement. I will only use the MaxFactor Lipfinity! I have noticed that your lips must be completely dry for the color to stick. If there is any bit of lipbalm/chapstick/moisturizer on your lips, the color will wear out quickly. I think Max Factor Lipfinity is wonderful. I was going to be Maid of Honor at a wedding and my friend said here try this. I didn't know what it was and read the label. I love to try new affordable price products from Revlon, Covergirl, Maybeline, Almay, Max Factor or L'Oreal, but I have to admit that Max Factor Lipfinity is the worst. The color is transferable, and it does not last all day. In fact, you can still see the slight stain of lip color on a white coffee cup. Covergirl did a better job than Max Factor on long lasting lipstick. However, the plastic design from Covergirl looks cheap, and not at all attractive like Max Factor. (read more)

I was skeptical about "everlasting" lipsticks until I tried this. It comes as an applicator wand and a little bottle, rather than a traditional lipstick "stick", making application easy. There are loads of shades to choose from, even more if you choose from both the Lipfinity and Lipfinity Everlites range. Only two things to remember when using this product:
Use lip balm beforehand, as it dries out lips if you're not careful, and don't rub the lips together until it has dried.

While I really Max Factor Lipfinity, I resent the cheap trick they play on us. They must think women are idiots and won't notice that the gold band on the bottom of the bottle covers up the fact that there is still plenty of the product left, but the applicator does not go past the golden band, trying to make us think it's empty already.....when it's not!
Don't they make enough of a profit already?
They must have changed the formula too. At the beginning the color lasted longer than it does...

Max Factor Lipfinity: On the outer lips it usually does last 8 hours.
Using it for 5+ years says it all and I can't go back to normal lipstick now.
Once you get used to applying and removing (try vaseline for stubbon parts)its easy.
In my opinion it's fairly expensive but worth it.

I've been using Lipfinity for about a year. I was skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. It really does work! It's the best long lasting lipstick I've tried. I'll keep buying it.
I tend to put lipstick on in the morning and forget about it all day. Even without the gloss at least I still have colour.

The first time I tried it on, it was just for a joke and I tried on the awful orange colour. Max Factor Lipfinity is the only long-lasting lipstick I have found that actually does last all day. I apply it before going to work, and it's usually still looking ok when I get home at the end of the day, after coffee, lunch, biscuits, etc. It comes in a reasonable variety of colours - I have a neutral pinky-brown for the day and a deep red shade for dressing up, and I think they're even doing metallic shades now.

You don't get herpes from an unused lipstick. Herpes is a virus & once you have it, you have it for life. It is an opportunistic virus that waits for it's perfect breeding conditions ie. when you have a cold, a mild fever etc.
