I was served by a lady who I THINK was called anji in the Doncaster frenchgate store, I've never had customer service like this before and I'm so impressed, went in not really knowing what I was looking for and she helped me make the right choice and found the best deal ever, I then left with a huge smile and lovely iPhone 6, both me and my grandma were so happy with this service I hope this lady gets the recognition she deserves !!! :)… Read Full Review

“Mis-selling a product”

The Carphone Warehouse are and appalling company I of my experience at the Ocean Terminal Edinburgh is anything to go by. I upgraded my up contract taking what the assistant said as being correct, but was given the wrong phone which they now refuse to correct Nd I am stuck with for two years. The manager lied through his teeth and was incredibly abusive as well as saying that the law doesn't matter as he is only doing what he is told by CPW. I ordered from carphone warehouse online due to the promise of next day delivery. To start with the web site did not allow me to change the delivery address despite me selecting the option to deliver to a different address than my billing address. I rang and this was sorted out. I bought a Lumia 930 and carphone warehouse were the only place that had it at a reasonable price. I had to go to 3 different stores and out of them all, only one was good. The other two had lazy and rude staff who treated me and my father like dirt. I do not reccommend their branch at meadowhall Sheffield if you are a person of colour. Shocking behavior. Worst customer service ever. If I could give -5 stars, I would. The staff is unfriendly, lazy and untrained. I am on a 2-year contract and totally not worth spending even a penny. The staff was unwilling and unhelpful - they clearly had no training whatsoever. They also do not tell you a lot of stuff when they are trying to sell to you. Worst experience ever. I have complained to the HR department many times via email (people solutions) the service they use is atrocious I hate them so much. They do not pay colleagues sometimes and it is really disgusting. UTTERLY STAGGERING I am shocked that the Carphone Warehouse can find that blurting out unacceptable verbatim at people who have a valid complaint in answer to that complaint but does not resolve a single issue!! That is odd. I bought a new phone on a new contract. Decided after a day I didn't like it, they told me on the phone I could replace it in store. I went to my local shop and the guy there made a couple phone calls to make sure my number porting wouldn't be interrupted. Found a new phone for me but wasn't the colour I liked so ordered one in for the next day and it arrived the next day. I couldn't have asked for more.

The only thing the guy in store said...."always go in store", "don't deal with CW over the phone".

My windows phone became problematic after a system update. I took it to the geek squad in Merry Hill, who were most helpful. The phone, a Nokia Lumia, was still under guarantee and was fixed and returned to store for collection within a week. Since then the phone has worked excellently. before they sell you a device they ask you for insurance...if you refuse...they sell you a defected device(used?)...I bought a Samsung s4+contract.... after 2 months the phone didn,t work....they told its the water in it...?...no REPLACEMENT.... am paying monthly but can not use it...very unskilled,rude staff.....I JUST AVOID THIS COMPANY..AND TELL TO EVERYBODY I KNOW....!!!… Read Full Review

Lol. Person buys phone, gets liquid in it and expects a company to give them a new one! It's like crashing a car with no insurance, and expecting Ford to give you a new one!

Firstly I was due an upgrade, Carphone warehouse called me 8 times in the space of 2 days to get me to even though I stressed I didn't want a new phone at this precise moment and would upgrade in a month or so when I was less busy. I stated I had an iPhone 5 and was happy, in the end they persuaded me to change my tariff in which my contract would be only a couple pounds less. “Bristol Mall Carphone Warehouse Doesn't Even Deserve 1...”

In November this year I went into the Carphone Warehouse in the Mall in Bristol to get my husband a Samsung Galaxy phone upgraded from an ACE to an ACE 3 for Christmas on the Virgin network. After taking a contract with the carphone warehouse, I went in for help with changing some settings. They took my phone away from me to the manager who didnt want to come on the shop floor and deal face to face. “Atrocious Aftersales Services”
