I ordered a pay as you go phone from their Black Tag event. I expected things to take a little longer as know it is a busy time. I booked my preferred delivery time and ordered the phone online. I received the original confirmation e-mail saying that my order is being processed and was given an order number. I waited for the DPD e-mail, which never seemed to arrive. “Worst service ever”

By far the worst service I have ever received from any company and I am quite a patient person. I spent over an hour on the phone to customer service and sales only to be told that my first order can't go through due to an issue with Vodafone. Then decided to go for a different deal, I got offered a really good deal in exchange and to make up for the inconveniences, again when I got through to sales I was told this was impossible. Got a new phone and old phone not disconnected. Ended up paying for both phones for 5 months. Called customer service twice only to be cut off twice mid conversation. Sent written complaint. “Shocking service Sunderland store”

Took a tablet in for repair 5 weeks ago, not 1 single attempt from the shop to call me with updates, had to file 3 complaints online to find out where the tablet was. The store then tell me they have the tablet back from the repair centre, it is unrepairable. I ask for a diagnosis, software or hardware fault? They tell me that it's just unrepairable. “Poor coverage with iD not helpfull”

“Disgusting Service!”

I ordered a contract phone on Sunday. It stated 1 day delivery (which i allowed until Tuesday with it being a weekend). It also stated that if there were any issues with regards to the order I would be contacted within 1 day. “Nearly ended up in court”

Got a faulty device from them sent three times for repair and never repaired. I asked them to replace it with a new one, as I have never been provided with a well woking phone. Went into the shop to purchase a phone as I am on a sim only deal and I had already picked the phone I wanted. The sales assistant was very helpful. He showed us all the positives of the phone and gave us sound impartial advice. Not only was my order not delivered the next day (or the one after that, or the one after that), Carphone Warehouse also couldn't tell me when it would be delivered as they'd lost my order. “SIM FREE is not SIM FREE”

I bought an iPhone from Carphone Warehouse as a SIM FREE device as I already had a contract with EE. I have since moved and EE do not have coverage so I have entered into a new contact with O2. Carphone Warehouse: Hi, very sorry to see you have had issues with this handset, all iPhones sold by the Carphone Warehouse do lock to the initial Network (sim) entered into the device. This information is provided to our customers at point of sale and is within the terms and conditions of our website.
As a retailer Carphone Warehouse doesn't pre-load software onto any of the devices we stock, this is done by the individual manufactures and network providers.

Well lets start with paying for the phone to be unlocked, given that that was what I purchased. With regards to being told at point of sale, clearly that had not been done. As for your terms and conditions, can you tell me the font size and number of words. That is a blatant cop out.
I have purchased iPhone before and have not had this issue. As you stated above its the iPhones that Carphone Warehouse sells that do this. Not sure how you can avoid responsibility after admitting as much.

“The Worst Service From Mobile Providers”

I got an ID Sim Card from Carphone Warehouse. They said I have to wait for 24 hours for activation. 

After my sim card had not been activated I called them again and they said my post code is not in zone coverage.

I asked why they are selling product with to post codes where is not zone coverage and asked for contract cancellation. As I got this contract just few days ago - so I have been thinking they will cancel for me the contract.

I agree with everything you are saying about carphone. They are the worst mobile provider. I am tied in a 2 year contract, I have been with them for 7 months and I am now on my third phone.i asked to cancel my contract in the first 2 weeks with them. My phone stopped working and they refused to fixed it. The staff have no manners. They are quick to take your money and after that, they don't seem to care about who they upset. Second phone broke down and now I'm on my third phone. Very unhelpful. Avoid carphone warehouse at all cost.
