I would have given it 5 stars but due to intense queueing and the park is packed with tourists, also lots of schools choose it as thier end of year school trip. Go when the park first opens in march and don't go, in the half term or at weekends. Unless you like to queue for 2 hours or even 4 hours for Stealth, (not jokeing about the queueing).Stealth's a wicked ride but it's not worth queueing that long. But when you get there the rides are excellent SAW is probaley the most intense ride and adr ...- Read Guest's review (171 words)

The staff were terrible they wouldnt want to talk to me when i tried call them they would act as if i didnt call them. The rides cost too mcuh money and the waiting list for theh big rides as saw, stealth etc. etc. you had to wait over and hour and twenty minutes for the ride overall terrible experience would not want to go again.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

Thorpe Park; There seems only one criteria for me; value for money.
The rides seem very good for teenagers but the wait times were just ridiculous. We waited over an hour and 20 mins and that was not even one of the biggest rides. An hour and 40 mins predicted for Saw at around 8 at night when the Park was clearly packed. Yes this was half term and they had other events kids had booked seperatly for but there is a solution to such long wait times; admitt less people.
We went to Pleasure Beach ea ...- Read Gurkha's review (137 words)

I have read many reviews and seen very contraversial replys.
Thorpe park seems to appeal to the teenagers more, and not to the littlens?
I have to admit i love thorpe park, ive been so many times, and every single time ive never been disapointed.
The first time i went was when i was around 6 and i loved it and its been like that ever since!
The last time i went was in the summer holidays, and i went with my friends. I live very far away from thorpe park so had to get two trains, the tube and a ...- Read holliefedex's review (409 words)

I am 12 years old and personally, i think thorpe park is a great family day out. Although, if you have small children, they are most likely to get bored and agitated.
The rides are thrilling and entertaining, especially saw and stealth.
Me and my friend got 5 fastracks each, which was roughly £26 altogether, the fastracks we had were for collosus, nemesis inferno, X:\No way out and tidal wave/loggers leap, then we got a Saw fastrack which was seperate to the extreme fastrack. Altogether w ...- Read Guest's review (91 words)

We are from the North of England so due to the long drive we have tended to go to Alton Towers. This time we decided to brave the long journey and try Thorpe Park and it was definitely worth it.
Thopre park is jam packed with top quality rides. It is smaller than Alton Towers but it has much more rides; so less walking between rides. The two rides that stood out for us were Stealth; which will take your breath away and Saw; which will scare the crap out of you!
There is plenty of places to eat ...- Read Guest's review (250 words)

I thought Thorpe park is excellent. i have been 4 times now, and enjoy it more each time, with the addition of new rides . Sure it might not be huge, but then again if you look where it's located,(on a island in the middle of a huge lake, theres only so much that can be done). and what people are saying about the queue times for Saw ect, it is there own fault for not doing things in the right order. i went and did saw first, with 20 minutes waiting time, but its key you get there right away. sa ...- Read Guest's review (259 words)

Visited Thorpe park with my two teenage children in early june 09,it was packed to the rafters, the queue for saw was 2 hours 15 mins, it broke down 4 time in that period, we were then given a priority pass to return to the ride later that day it was broken the whole day, never got a ride.by this time the queue for the other rides were massive, managed four rides in the whole day, loved stealth though.complained to the management and was offered priority passes for 3 rides on my next visit, and a st ...- Read gray5305's review (113 words)

took 4 teenagers (x2 13 and x2 15) to thorpe park yesterday and they loved it. did invest in fast track tickets (£9 each for 4 rides and £4 for saw) as would have been a nightmare without them because the queues were long (1.5 hours average) so top tip get fast track tickets early because they do sell out and it would have been frustrating without them and having them made the day. it is a very expensive day but i did it as a holiday treat and made sure the kids realised that and t ...- Read libbycable's review (378 words)

Overall I would not recommend Thorpe Park for families with children under 12 or to put it another way if you or the kids don't like thrill rides don't bother. Go to Legoland instead!
We went on a Sunday in the middle of the summer holidays and the weather was really perfect so the park was busy and it did feel cramped in some parts particularly around the smaller kid's rides in Octopus Garden.
Other comments about the wasps are spot on, there is a very real problem that the owners should sort ...- Read Guest's review (670 words and 1 comment)

Thorpe park is amzing, the rides are thrilling and the atmosphere is great! It is expensive, but i have a thorpe park annual pass that lets you go whenever you want in the year for as many times as you want. It was definetly worth my money as i live close to thorpe park so i go often. I have not had the guts to go on Stealth and Saw before, but i am about to go to thorpe park today so hopefully i will change my mind :) i definetly reccomend thorpe park to everyone over the age of 10, as most rid ...- Read Guest's review (110 words)

Thorpe Park I felt had very efficient and friendly staf, the food may be overpriced but that's a theme park for you. The rides have long queues but what do you expect, no body else to go when you do? It's a busy place get over it!
Nemesis Inferno often has a much smaller queue than the other coasters and is probably the best, an underated ride, stelath and saw really don't deserve the queues they get where as colossus probably does.
The flat rides in the lost city (except rush) often have sma ...- Read Guest's review (141 words)

Ive been to plenty of theme parks in my life abroad and in the UK and Thorpe Park has to be the worst. £35 to get in the park, and then queue for almost 3 hours to get on a ride!? Its idiotic! The staff were poorly trained, it took them about 10minutes to get people off and on rides. There was rubbish all over the park, wasps nests next to the queuing areas. And alot of the staff were rude and some didnt even speak English, which isnt very helpful when you need to ask for assistance! Thorp ...- Read Guest's review (143 words)

I went today for the 19th time, i only live 3 miles from there. The one thing i see is that people bash it for long queues but in retrospect, the queues are that big because it is the best theme park in the UK. The rides are the best, they are all close to each other - there is no amazingly long walks like Alton Towers and there is lots to do for all ages. At times some of the staff haven't been that great in the past but today i had the most the pleasure of some of the most friendly i have had ...- Read Gazza75's review (1030 words)

Went to Thorpe Park today for the first time in about 20 years... it has changed alot and to be honest was a real disappointment. Most of the rides are great, if you dont mind queing for hours to get on them. WE turned up before it opened and managed to queue just 5 minutes for Collosus, our next ride was the SAW ride - we queued 70 minutes for that and that was at 10:30 in the am.
All the other rides were queueing for similar times and we never got round to going on anything else because it mea ...- Read Guest's review (202 words)

Just spend today at Thorpe Park. Four adults and no kids. Arrived at 10.30am and left at 5.30pm. In total we queued for a total of four hours out of the 7 hours we were there. Of the remaining 3 hours- 1 hour was spend eating substandard food and drink at exhorbitant prices. 1 hour was spend wandering around the poorly directed site and 1 hour was spend getting in and then leaving the site (that was after we had luckily re-located our car)Went on 3 of the major rides, but gave up on SAW due to a ...- Read pleasant's review (267 words)
